I enjoy working with client’s in their own homes to enable independence, safety and quality of life in line with their rehabilitation goals. I provide both occupational therapy and case management services to clients in Sydney and regional NSW. As an occupational therapist I enjoy the challenge and reward of working with clients to achieve their goals. Whether it’s returning to a much loved hobby, finding a wheelchair which best suits their needs or mastering those everyday tasks which can become difficult after an injury, illness or with age. Occupational therapy services are provided to clients in their own home environment, work place or care facility. I specialise in working with client’s who have complex needs, including care needs, equipment requirements or independent living skill development. I provide a thorough functional and hands on approach to my therapy services, ensuring client’s feel they have participated in and contributed to the assessment and treatment process. As a case manager I ensure each client is provided with an individualised rehabilitation plan. This means looking at the client’s life circumstances and ensuring their rehabilitation and care needs are thoroughly met. I consider my approach to case management is energetic, proactive and practical ensuring clients remain engaged and motivated to achieve their goals. I am an approved case manager with Lifetime Care and Support and provide services within Workers Compensation and the private sector. Report writing forms an integral part of the services offered at Bodycoat Rehabilitation. Reports are provided in a timely manner following assessment and provide practical information regarding client circumstances and needs. Report formats can be negotiated to ensure client needs are best met. Services are provided to community services, private and compensable clients.
