The Big Give Photo Contest Show us your spirit, celebrate The Big Give, and enter for a chance to win ONE OF FOUR $2,500 GRANTS to the nonprofit organization of your choice—by creating an awesome photo! Submit your photos before The Big Give begins on May 12 at 10 a.m.! WHAT DO I NEED? All you need to enter is (1) a filled-out Big Give circle, (2) a creative photo, (3) a caption, (4) the hashtag #BigGiveTCF, and (5) an Instagram account. HOW DO I ENTER? 1 Using a BIG, thick marker, get inspired and fill in the blank on The Big Give circle (provided for you, see below!). What word best describes The Big Give? Is it “awesome,” “inspiring,” or just plain “cool”? Amaze us! 2 Take a photo that includes your circle and shows Big Give spirit. This could be a group of inspiring people, a Columbus hotspot, or a local event—or maybe it’s a photo highlighting one of the many amazing places in our community or representing your favorite nonprofit’s mission. Get creative! 3 Post this photo to your personal or your organization’s Instagram account with the hashtag #BigGiveTCF. Be sure to include a catchy caption! (The circles at the Foundation are 21 inches in diameter and have been produced using higher-quality card stock—possibly making for a better photo!) Four prizes are available—creators of the winning photos will be rewarded with the opportunity to make a $2,500 grant to one of the 630 nonprofits in PowerPhilanthropy,® the Foundation’s online marketplace. All photos meeting the five criteria listed above will be considered for the prize(s). Photos will be judged by a Big Give promotional partner each week leading up to The Big Give on May 12. Winners will be announced through the Foundation’s social media channels on April 24, May 1, May 8, and May 13. Both individuals and nonprofit organizations are able to enter the contest. All photos are eligible to win for the duration of the photo contest, from April 15 to May 12. So if you don’t win the first week, you are not out of the contest! While we will be looking on Instagram for contest entries, we hope you will post your Big Give photo across all of the social media channels you use. We will too!
