STRATEGY STORY
STRATEGY STORY
What moves us
Our cities are becoming the control centres for the future.
They pulsate with life. The urban metropolitan areas are
enormous hubs for labour, economic growth, the application
of innovation and gateways to an attractive life. Huge influxes
of people, companies and organisations are moving to the
city with the most varied of motives.
»Attractive mobility services
add value to any city and any
region, in particular when
passenger and commercial
transport services are provided
in a coordinated manner.«
AND THERE IS A LOT TO BE MOVED: people and goods
get to their destination using a number of different
means of transport, such as by bicycle, train, car or van.
Because of limited space, sharing is increasingly the way
forward: sharing the costs of purchases, the means of
transport and the infrastructure. New forms of travel add
spice to day-to-day mobility. A wide range of options
accommodate users‘ different motivations, e.g. getting
there as soon as possible, travelling on a budget, safely
or in an environmentally-friendly way. We need liveable
cities and well functioning freight transport to ensure
reliable supply. Moreover, there is a high demand for
multimodal, smart mobility options. For urban planners,
it is not an easy job to get the underlying conditions right
when planning sustainable transport.
PTV Group is committed to meeting the requirements
of the future and taking an active part in shaping it in a
responsible manner. To this end, the company provides
advanced software solutions and consulting services
and is involved in forward-looking projects. Moreover,
PTV is an active member of political, business and scientific associations as well as supranational networks. It is
above all a matter of seeing mobility as a composite
whole and helping to create and optimise urban logistics and passenger transport at the same time.

SMARTER MOBILITY:
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF REAL-TIME INFORMATION
Everything will be connected. Everything will be digital.
Everything communicates. More and more data is collected, processed, analysed and shared. Smart cities,
Industry 4.0, digitalisation and the Internet of Things are
coming on in leaps and bounds. Our future mobility will
also benefit from this enormously.
PTV Group wants to help make better use of existing
infrastructure by delivering new technologies, real-time
information and intelligent mobility solutions. Real-time
data in particular enables new optimisation potential.
The more up-to-date the information and the more information available for the real traffic situation, the more
targeted the control and management of the traffic will
be. This will also ease traffic congestion and reduce the
number of road accidents. By providing the real arrival
times of goods and commodities, improvements can
be made across the entire supply chain in terms of both
customer service and logistics processes.
Those who want to make cities liveable and loved
should not just have the mobility of their citizens in
mind, but also think about clever concepts for commercial transport. Parcels delivered to your door are
one thing, but congestion and an increase in freight
traffic are quite another. PTV advises public authorities on how to organise freight transport smartly
both around and within cities.
03
STRATEGY STORY
When optimising infrastructure, there are three aspects
which stand out: road safety, shared economy and
environmental protection. PTV Group focuses on these
aspects to enable future-proof mobility and transport
solutions for an increasing number of people on a limited planet.
ROAD SAFETY –
SOLUTIONS FOR A SAFER WORLD
Road safety is a crucial topic both for society and the PTV
Group. With the innovative approach of transportation
planning combined with road safety work, transport planners are in a position to analyse accident data and factor
the results into their plans in order to maximise road
safety. Due to its experience and expertise in this field,
PTV Group can support emerging countries and regions
in coping with rapidly growing motorisation.
PTV solutions for road safety:
Transport planning taking road safety into account
Accident analysis for road safety work
Pedestrian simulation for major events, evacuation
scenarios, analysis of weak points
Safe and secure navigation solutions for commercial
traffic
Truck parking app for safe and secure truck parking
Signal control optimisation
Real-time solutions for traffic management
designed to reduce traffic congestion and accident
risk in congested traffic
SHARED ECONOMY –
SOLUTIONS FOR A SHARED WORLD
Transport policy should integrate the changed mobility
needs and behaviour of people into transport planning.
Sharing services are more popular than ever. Alternative
and environmentally-friendly forms of transport such as
public transport, bicycles and electric vehicles are on
the rise.
By sharing real-time data, transport logistics can optimise processes across the entire supply chain. This could
be through better handling on the ramp, or by sharing resources to reduce empty runs and consequently transport
costs. Pilot schemes are showing that running intermodal
transport and utilising the entire logistics network helps
to harness additional potential for optimisation.
OUR SOLUTION PORTFOLIO

CLIMATE PROTECTION –
SOLUTIONS FOR A GREENER WORLD
Consulting & Research
Plans for a cleaner environment and a more careful use
of resources have an impact on the implementation of
mobility concepts. The ecological consequences in terms
of today’s and tomorrow’s traffic and transport should be
minimised.
PTV solutions for climate protection:
Intermodal mobility concepts
Traffic and transport planning, including noise
and emissions calculation for planning scenarios
Professional route and trip planning including
qualified emission calculation
Integrated approach to and development of
e-mobility solutions
PTV Group is actively involved in all these fields, exploiting synergies resulting from the company’s unique expertise in logistics and transport planning. Moreover, it
supports research projects focusing on new solutions
for integrated transport and city logistics concepts.
Designing mobility options inclusive of both passenger and commercial transport has special resonance all
around the world. In cities and flourishing regions, the
use of real-time data fosters new solutions and services.
This also applies to poorer countries: access to mobility
implies access to work and therefore the chance for a
better life. Vincent Kobesen, CEO of the PTV Group:
“Alongside politics, we can move things and actively
contribute to improving infrastructure – to make liveable
cities and for the good of our society.“

REAL-TIME INFORMATION
FOR VEHICLE FLEETS
With the integration of PTV xServers
into Transics’ TX-CONNECT, dispatchers are now provided with valuable
additional information on toll charges
and current traffic conditions, including Guided Navigation. At its headquarters in Genemuiden, Belgium,
Verhoek uses TX-CONNECT, Transics’
online back office platform. This software uses multiple PTV xServer functions, such as route calculation, including the calculation of distances, travel times and toll charges. This way,

TRANSPARENT AND RELIABLE
Verhoek dispatchers are also provided with real-time information on traffic conditions and toll costs. Traffic
jams, construction work and road closures are clearly displayed on the TXCONNECT map. The dispatcher can
forward all relevant traffic information
to the vehicle’s onboard computer,
enabling drivers to choose an alternative route in due time. “We can now inform our customers about any delays
at an early stage, e.g. when drivers get
caught in a traffic jam,” says Leo ten
Veen, responsible for Verhoek’s international transport operations. PTV
xServers also offer Guided Navigation.
“Transics has been working with PTV
for more than 13 years,” says Jeffrey
Baljet, plant manager at Transics.
He thinks that Guided Navigation is a
great example of a target group specific solution. Dispatchers can now
plan their routes via TX-CONNECT
and send them directly to the truck’s
onboard computer in order to avoid
unnecessary toll and fuel costs.
CROSS aims to define and deploy a new
Vehicle Routing Core solution in Europe for industrial and medical cylinder operations in 12 countries. With
hundreds of trucks and many dispatchers across Europe, Air Liquide
wanted to capitalize on dispatchers’
knowledge and converge the different parameters used for trip planning
with a more efficient tool.
PTV Group contributes its expertise in optimisation projects implemented throughout Europe. The new
PTV GROUP
Air Liquide tool is now complemented with PTV xServers for mass geocoding of addresses, trip calculation
with specific truck profiles and for
displaying maps and objects. PTV
Smartour is used to manage information about sites, depots and vehicles in order to plan the orders
and optimise trips. A totally renewed
IT architecture (client server solution)
for software and map sharing ensures
easier maintenance and provides a
full standard solution to secure
operations.“ The experience of our
dispatchers and drivers combined
with the performance of PTV Smartour
allows optimisation of daily planning
in terms of mileage and overall costs
which is crucial for business. Another
positive effect: enhanced reliability
helps to improve customer satisfaction. Finally, less mileage also means
less CO2 emissions, which is good for
everyone,” says Germán Gafas, European Cylinder Transport Efficiency
Manager at Air Liquide.

Be it construction sites, roadblocks, traffic jams or accidents –
TrafficGuide.ro is the Internet
portal which provides real-time
information on traffic across
Romania. The technology, which
bundles the necessary data and
assesses its validity before harmonising it, is PTV Optima, a
tool which enables dynamic traffic
forecasting.
“One of the best traffic management systems in the world,” concluded the current mayor of Moscow,
Sergei Semjonowitsch Sobjanin,
and Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor.
At the heart of Moscow‘s newly
implemented Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) is PTV Optima.
This solution, which is based on a
PTV Visum model, provides accurate traffic information in real time
and enables dynamic forecasting
for a timescale of 60 minutes.

TRAFFIC INFORMATION ON
YOUR FINGERTIPS!
“Our aim was to be able to map traffic
information across Romania and to
give network operators the ability to
observe their road network and manage traffic events using a web-based
interface,” reports Sorin Dumitrescu,
Managing Director at ELSOL, an engineering and consulting firm which
specialises in ITS solutions. Therefore,
the company looked for a solution
which could obtain traffic data from
several different sources and in a
variety of data formats and data pro-

tocols. Furthermore, it was necessary
that the solution should be able to
broadcast traffic data automatically,
with a minimum of effort, across a
multitude of information channels,
sorted according to geographical
relevance. PTV Optima fulfilled these
requirements.
To map traffic information in real
time, PTV Optima collects data from
the relevant sources. This data is then
compared, validated, harmonised
and merged. Thanks to these solu-
tions, PTV Optima can provide traffic
managers with a comprehensive
picture of speed, traffic densities
and congestion across their traffic
network. ELSOL also values the longterm opportunities to extend the
system: “With PTV Optima, you can
forecast traffic up to 60 minutes in
advance. At present, our plan to add
this module as an extension to our
system has not yet become a reality
– but it’s something we’re extremely
keen to do.”
With around 19 million inhabitants
in central Moscow, the metropolis
has to contend with heavy congestion on its arterial and ring roads.
To counter this, the city has opted
to implement state-of-the-art traffic
management technology.
“To produce a coherent and detailed picture of traffic, PTV Optima
collects, compares, validates and
combines data from multiple sources,” said Miller Crockart, Vice President Global Sales & Marketing
PTV GROUP
Traffic Software, PTV Group. Through
a combination of real-time data, data
evaluation and validated transport
modelling, PTV Optima provides transport authorities with traffic information on the entire road network,
including reliable traffic forecasts
for the next 60 minutes. Crockart:
“Our model-based approach is unmatched in its field.” It relies on
a physical interpretation of the traffic
network and conditions. In this way,
even effects of unexpected inci-
dents, such as road works or accidents, can be forecast and effects
of alternative traffic management
measures can be simulated in real
time. This provides ideal support
to transport authorities, helping
them to select and implement the
best strategy in terms of optimum
traffic management.

Efficient mobility solutions
for a better world
For many years PTV traffic software tools had been developing and establishing a reputation worldwide for their proven scientific validity and powerful
results. Each and every one of the outstanding tools, from PTV Visum for traffic
modelling to PTV Vissim for traffic simulation, and even the newest ones like
PTV Vistro for traffic impact assessment, has consistently shown itself to be a
leading software tool in its respective field of transportation planning.
NOWADAYS MORE THAN EVER, all kinds of governments
from national to local ones, as well as transport and infrastructure operators, place their trust in our tools to ensure
decisions for a better future. This has allowed PTV Group
to be recognised as a key player in global efforts to improve the mobility of human activities. Multilateral banks
such as the World Bank, organisations like the OECD and
the IABD and renowned NGOs like ITDP and EMBARQ
turn to us to back up their transport ideas and policies
before the various stakeholders.
»Nowadays more than ever,
all kinds of governments
from national to local ones,
as well as transport and infrastructure operators, place
their trust in our tools to
ensure decisions for a better
future.«
Latin America is blessed with abundant natural resources,
lovely weather and hard-working people. However, it also
had to cope with numerous economic and political crises.
This is why many Latin Americans have lost trust in their
institutions. They rather have confidence in themselves and
their families. So rules and regulations, such as traffic signs
and signals, are still rather considered suggestions.
In order to promote strategic planning in this region, a
mindset shift is required. Both, civil society and policy
makers need to understand that software and technology
can help to make the right decisions that ultimately lead
to success. The biggest challenge for Latin America is how
to capitalise stability in a planning model that brings to
people’s everyday lives all the benefits that the macroeconomic figures indicate. Efficient mobility is without a doubt
a driving force for quality of life. In this context, logistics is
also becoming increasingly important. Therefore, policy
makers now also focus on regulations regarding the optimum movement of goods.
There are plenty of opportunities, not only because the
region needs better planning, but also because the people
have good sense and ideas to develop scenarios for the
future. Our Vision Traffic Suite will be the scientific element
which guarantees this brainpower to be used to boost the
sustainability and effectiveness of decisions.
TOP USE CASES
City of Bogotá, Columbia: PTV software is the pre-
ferred platform for all mobility and traffic reports.
Mexico Country: Transferred its national transport model to PTV Visum.
LOCAL SPECIFICS
Latin American people simply enjoy life. They benefit from

Added value for
the logistics supply chain
We support our customers in transport logistics and retail and at the
same time lower their costs – from the planning stage to delivery.
Our software solutions provide assistance through their clever algorithms
to get the best out of the digital road network. We plan and optimise
transport routes, trips, sales structures or locations and provide information in real-time about the actual arrival time.
IN TRANSPORT LOGISTICS AND GEO-MARKETING, it
is a matter of planning the most efficient processes and
minimising transport and road costs, whether delivering
goods or planning trips for the sales force. PTV software
has been providing competent logistics and sales support for 36 years.
»We see ourselves as planning
and optimisation specialists and
independent of ERP, TMS and
data providers. Alongside our
partners, we offer on-premise
and Cloud solutions for the entire
supply chain.«
We focus on the planning and optimisation of transport
costs and the new service, which provides the actual arrival time in real-time. It is not only the customer who wants
to be informed about where their package is; the transport company also wants to know whether the recipient
is there, so as to prevent expensive no-shows and the
additional deliveries associated with them. Alongside our
partners that offer telematics, ERP, TMS and CRM systems,
we provide end-to-end solutions for greater efficiency
throughout the entire logistics supply chain.
Added value is also guaranteed through such data as
Floating Car Data (FCD), historical and current transport information, truck attributes or toll costs, which we
collect and prepare for our tools in order to use them in
logistics planning systems. In addition to locally installed
solutions (on-premise), our new cloud services are also
increasingly in demand. This could be for route optimisation with PTV Map&Guide or, in Benelux with the
TLNplanner Internet, for providing the expected arrival
time with PTV Drive&Arrive or even searching for truck
parking spaces with our free app Truck Parking Europe.

The Dutch are famous for being clever business people.
Nowadays, the Benelux region is one of the most successful international logistics distribution points for transporting goods from and to the entire world. Our software for
trip optimisation is especially popular: over 400 users in
the Benelux states are already using PTV Smartour for this
purpose. Intermodal transport concepts are certain to be
important for the future. We are currently performing pioneering work on new solutions with major pilot customers. In addition, every TMS and fleet provider in Benelux
has already integrated the PTV xServer.
LOCAL SPECIFICS
Incidentally, logistics and transport are considered to
be 100 percent a joint undertaking in this region! For
example, in transportation planning, individual driving lanes – or even turning lanes - will increasingly be
arranged specifically for trucks in order to make freight
traffic quicker.
PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TRENDS
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TRENDS
New challenges
for software development
During times in which quickly changing market conditions cause
immense pressure on innovation, software development needs
to reinvent itself once again. We are confident about the combination of continuity and agility for the further development of our
existing products, also ensuring that we will take a leading position
in the key issues of tomorrow‘s world.
PTV GROUP COULD BE COMPARED to a modern software factory with a production line similar to the car
industry. Continuous integration (CI) and a continuous
improvement process (CIP) are central to this.
»Our product management
and software development are
geared toward creating new
business models and innovations
in a customer-oriented, dynamic
manner, enabling rapid market
access.«
Through CI, we continuously integrate newly-created
code into the current application. However, Nightly Build
does not only compile code; in addition, several automatic tests are run, documentation is updated and new
versions of the translation are inserted. Intensive manual
tests, the success of which determine whether a product
is released, also begin early in the development phase
for a release. The quality therefore remains at a high
level from the very first day of development.
The development is supported with tools to guarantee
the process quality. We manage requirements, log all
the tasks to be completed in the Issue Tracking System and measure the coverage of automatic tests. The
manual tests also follow the test plans set out in the test
management system. Burndown charts indicate at all
times whether development projects run according to
schedule.
GLOSSARY

integration; process mostly runs at night and automatically.
Requirements: Software requirements.

What is new is that for all the sensible division of labour in the product manufacturing process, we have
increased our speed. In contrast to the car industry,
we are in competition with the global IT start-up
community and need to complete much quicker cycles.
We have therefore acquired the organisational flexibility
to establish mixed, functionally highly-integrated, largely self-organized and very customer-oriented operations teams when dealing with new topics. Our new
products, PTV Optima and PTV Drive&Arrive, were
developed in this way. The teams generally involve a
combination of many years of experience and youthful
dynamism. They complement with one another from
the sales stage right up to development and the technical roll-out, and are set up across the entire group – and
so internationally.

Collaboration
Multimodality replaces
out of self-interest
bipolar system
Collaboration with partners, interconnected systems and transparency
across the entire supply chain – that is the future. There is enormous
potential in better coordination of transport services for efficiency
gains and a reduced environmental impact. The only condition is that
there are only winners in the interplay with business-oriented stakeholders. Otherwise, shared economy will remain a dream.
The choice between car and public transport used to be black
and white: the car – expensive, but flexible, public transport –
affordable, but rigid. A traditional point of view that is losing
relevance with each new mobility concept and which, thanks to
car sharing and bicycle rental systems, has allowed a colourful
middle ground to emerge.
THE TRIP PROFESSIONALLY PLANNED? Check. Logistics
services ordered? Check. Itinerary, times and costs calculated and the ramp booked in the recipient‘s time slot
management? All sorted, or so you may think. However,
things often pan out quite differently once the transport
gets going: Valuable time is lost avoiding poor-quality
infrastructure, stuck in traffic, looking for parking spaces
and waiting on the ramp. The upshot – trucks standing
still, long periods of idle time, contractual fines and frustrated drivers.
MULTIMODALITY HAS BECOME increasingly important
in the past few years and yet at the same time raises
questions: how do the new modes of transport affect the
modal split? How important will the new flexible modes
of transport become? Will they be detrimental or beneficial to traditional public transport? To be able to answer
these questions, transport planning models need to
remain relevant and meaningful. The sector is driven by
a desire for more realistic models, which presents a significant challenge to science and software development
alike. As a result, the PTV Group has long been committed to more modern and realistic models which include
new means of transport. Among other things, we are
working with leading scientists as part of the EU COST
Action “TransITS“ to improve models and apply them
practically in our transport planning software PTV Visum.
PTV Drive&Arrive can alleviate these problems. If everyone knows when a vehicle is scheduled to arrive, each
party can adjust its processes accordingly and increase
efficiency – on their own, but always with a positive effect
on the others involved. Collaboration out of self-interest:
this is the key to connecting participants in the logistics
chain. Cloud-based technology, simple to use, regardless of location, available to all parties from their own
systems, web portals, mobile apps or Excel and with an
interface that allows rapid integration. Alongside PTV
Navigator, PTV Drive&Arrive is available as a further
transport chain event management tool that, in addition
to traditional planning products, makes everyday work
more efficient.
20
And what about the future? Whereas today we can find
out the latest status of a transport, tomorrow we will
also be making proposals to eliminate disruptions and
thus enhance the efficiency of the transport chain even
further. With these products, the driver is also moving
closer and closer to centre stage for the innovative
ideas. In addition to navigation and parking space applications, we tie together a range of services which
address the driver‘s current stress factors and boost
the appeal of the job profile. Also, it will in future be a
matter of making the ever increasing volume of data
from transport services meaningful and accessible to
our customers in a secure way, whether through better
algorithms at the planning stage or real-time solutions
to serious transport problems.
Activity-based modelling (ABM), which has seen a strong
boost in research, promises better mapping of people‘s
mobility decisions. Whereas in classic demand modelling, people are divided into groups with homogeneous
behaviour, activity-based modelling allows every single
person and their characteristics to be modelled – whether
it be age, sex or social and economic environment. In
this way, activity-based models can make more powerful
predictions about how people organise their day-to-day
lives and how they will respond to different transport
strategies. Thanks to the latest development, our PTV
Visum software will in future also support activity-based
modelling. At the same time, we are expanding the previous varieties of demand modelling, reducing computing times and boosting productivity. As a result, our
users will also in future have a broad choice from which
to select the best modelling approach for their issues.
PTV GROUP
At the same time our market-leading simulation software PTV Vissim takes the opposite direction and allows
users to model traffic at a more aggregate level of detail.
Mesoscopic traffic simulation, used either exclusively or
as a hybrid with microsimulation, is in demand on the
market as a way of providing analyses for larger networks
without disproportionately increasing the computation
time. We have therefore used multi-scale modelling, a
solution that has proven successful in other fields like
climate and materials research, and applied it to traffic
simulation. “Meso“ will already make an appearance in
the next release of PTV Vissim.

REAL-TIME BUSINESS
REAL-TIME BUSINESS
One step further:
real-time right ahead
People have a natural thirst for knowledge. That applies as much
to education and research as it does to weather forecasts, stock
market behaviour and, yes – traffic updates. We want to have knowledge about the here and now and have the future in our hands.
That is why we use information, visualisation, analysis and forecasts.
»Nowadays more than ever, people
make their decisions based on real-time
information. Readily available real-time
information on mobility gives you a
certain added value when choosing between different options. Modern traffic
management takes this into account
and is itself built upon that principle.«
Today in our everyday lives we are already supported by
a host of devices and applications which feed us real-time
data, making life and work easier and our plans more
reliable. “Real-time“ is no longer just a buzzword. It has
become a reality and will continue to shape the future of
every individual and company, not least in the transport
industry. It is a question of collecting information and
achieving an overarching understanding of the multimodal traffic situation that spans the various transport and
mobility systems. Forecasts can then be made on this
basis either based on a short timeframe of a few minutes
and hours or a longer one of up to several days. In the
future, it is conceivable to have automatic updates which
would take effect during accidents or incidents.
PTV Group developed PTV Optima with this progress in
mind. The model-based solution provides accurate traffic
information in real-time and enables dynamic forecasting
for a timescale ranging from short term (minutes, hours)
to medium-term (days) future time horizons. It collects
data for this such as Floating Car Data (FCD), automatic
number plate recognition, detector information and
reports of accidents and road works from a wide range
of sources and matches, validates and consolidates them.
Data are also completed for the links in the network for
which no detector measurements or floating car data
are available. This provides ideal support to transport
authorities, helping them to select and implement the
best strategy from various options.
Two trends will influence future transport: big data and
internet of things. We have in mind automatic control and
optimisation of even more complex multimodal mobility
systems, able to automatically react to disruptions and
incidents and adjust to the optimal operating conditions.
The availability of the relevant amount of data and the
possibility to distribute personalized and specific information by means of seamlessly interconnected personal
devices and traffic control or control devices will help to
implement this concept of a self-adjusting system. In this
way, we can contribute to the idea of smart cities.

TRANSPORT CONSULTING
TRANSPORT CONSULTING
With a bit of advice,
everything will run smoothly
New requirements call for innovative solutions in both current
and future transport systems. The appropriate tools and ideas
are paving the way for the mobility of the future – for people
and goods alike.
AT PTV TRANSPORT CONSULT GMBH, we are adding to
the PTV Group product range qualified advisory services
on all aspects of transport and mobility, ensuring that
users can make the most out of the software for planning
and optimising transportation systems and processes.
Our multidisciplinary team of over 80 transport experts,
economists, engineers, geographers and other specialists creates customised concepts and expert reports for
our customers.
»Urban transport logistics is one
of the greatest challenges and
we are developing the right ideas
and strategies to tackle it. In fact,
secure, efficient and sustainable
ideas are required for all aspects
of transportation.«
No matter how good a tool is, it can be used well only
if the user knows how to handle it. That also applies to
transportation planning. This reflects one of the inestimable advantages which the PTV Group‘s comprehensive product range offers its customers. The software lays
the foundations for complex models and simulations that
model different planning stages and scenarios. Careful
application and processing refine these results, providing decision-makers with reliable recommendations.
We always pick up on the latest developments, such as
the increase in demand for handling urban logistics
mobility. In the past, HGV traffic was a peripheral element of urban transportation planning, such as for industrial estate development. Nowadays, urban logistics is a
foremost challenge when it comes to planning. Freight
transportation that runs smoothly is crucial for the supply
of goods to the population and the productivity of commercial companies, especially in cities.
At the same time, trucks have a negative impact on the
environment and society owing to the noise and exhaust
emissions. The trade-offs in this are clear. The public
wants the delivery of fresh goods and speedy handling
of ordered items, but finds the deliveries required to be
troublesome.
We help our customers to establish integrated logistics
concepts. In this regard, the specific challenges are
considered in detail and all the effects are taken into
account. An important component is the involvement
of all relevant stakeholders from politics, administration
and the general public, as well as logistics companies,
the operators of handling facilities and representatives
of interested parties. As a result, solutions are found
that meet the needs of the future.
