Clovelly Out of School Care operates in accordance with the requirements set
forth by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority
(ACECQA) including the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the framework
for school age care in Australia, My Time Our Place (MTOP).

At Clovelly Out of School Care we respect the value and benefit of play in
childhood and believe it contributes significantly to a child’s development as it
scaffolds a foundation for continuous constructive learning throughout life. We
foster opportunities for children’s evolution by providing a nurturing and
stimulating environment which promotes exploration, independence, creativity
and confidence. We acknowledge that middle childhood is a precious time
where children form friendships, learn vital social skills and experience
innocent wonder, joy and laughter in their time out of school. At COOSC we
aim to embrace each child’s uniqueness by encouraging open communication,
inclusive practices, and diversity through our programs, understanding and
attitude. Educators strive to be appropriate role models, promoting self-esteem,
rights and responsibilities, fairness and honesty and aim to build respectful
relationships with families and the community.

How to book:
• Requests for Bookings will be received by completing and returning a printed booking form only.
• Payment is required by direct debit.
• We do not take waiting lists or hold reservations.
• If there is a problem with payment, please see Katrina.
• Bookings will NOT be made over the phone.
• Child Care Benefit is available, see Centre staff for details or contact the Family Assistance Office.
Cost: $55 per day if bookings are made before the start of the holidays, April 2nd 2015. Casual fees are
$60 per day.
Confirmations: Unless we advise otherwise your bookings are confirmed on receipt of the form at
COOSC service desk.
Cancellations: Unfortunately the Centre cannot refund payments for confirmed bookings.
Swapping Confirmed Days: Unfortunately the Centre cannot offer to swap days for confirmed bookings.
Daily Activities: Will include recreational games each day, both indoor and outdoor. Sports, craft, art and
cooking will be included. The day’s program will be displayed each day with times for arrival and departure
at the centre.
Excursions: Excursions are subject to change depending on the number of enrolments & weather –
Please ensure your child is at the Centre by 9am on excursion days.
Sun Safety: Please ensure that your child is wearing the following: sun block, suitable clothing (covering
shoulders), enclosed footwear and a HAT every day. Thongs/Crocs are not permitted.
Food & Drink: Please ensure your child has a nutritional morning snack, lunch and water every day.
Centre Policies: Any parents/carers not familiar with Clovelly Out of School Centre should view a copy
of the “Parent Handbook” or at the centre when registering for these services.
