Anthonij Rupert Wyne, founded on
L’Ormarins in Franschhoek, was
originally owned by the late Anthonij
Rupert, who passed away in 2001. The
farm was then taken over by his
brother Johann Rupert in 2003, and the
brand named after Anthonij.

This wine was named after Raka, the
beloved fishing boat of Piet Dreyer,
proprietor of Raka wines. For more
than three decades Piet has plied the

Vilafonté is a joint wine-making
venture between a group of wine
specialists - Mike Ratcliffe (South
Africa) and Zelma Long and Phillip
Freese (United States). Vilafonté is
named after one of the more unique
soil types in our vineyard, called
vilafontes. This is one of the oldest
recorded soil types in the world and
has been defined as being somewhere
between 750 000 and 1.5mil years old.

Mullineux & Leeu Family wines, a boutique winery in
the Swartland is run by winemaking couple Chris &
Andrea Mullineux. After doing vintages in the USA
and France, they decided to settle in the Swartland,
believing they could make great wines from the right
varieties (Rhone and Chenin Blanc) on the terroirs of
the region. In 2014 they were awarded Winery of the
