One day, a man went as a visitor to a church. He got there early, parked his car and got out. Another car pulled up nearby and parked. The driver got out and said, “I always park there! You took my place!” The visitor went inside for the service, found an empty seat and sat down. A young lady from the church approached him and stated, “That’s my seat! You took my place!” The visitor was somewhat distressed by this rude welcome, but said nothing. After the service, the visitor went into the Sanctuary and sat down to pray. Another member came up to him and said, “That’s where I always sit! You took my place!” The visitor was even more troubled by this treatment, but still said nothing. Later as the congregation was praying for Christ to dwell among them, the visitor stood up, and his appearance began to change. His clothing became a simple robe. Horrible scars became visible on his hands and on his now sandaled feet. Someone from the congregation noticed him and called out, “What happened to you?” The visitor replied, as his hat became a crown of thorns, and a tear fell from his eye, “I TOOK YOUR PLACE!” When you have read this, just say a prayer. That’s all you have to do. Maybe, just maybe, we can get the world to start thinking of “who took our place” WEEKLY NEWS SHEET SHEET th Sunday 19 19 April 2015 “Lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard on the land.” (Song of Solomon 2:1) MORNING SERVICE at 11.00 a.m. in the Church Contemporary Worship Service Rev Paul Dalzell and the Praise Group Scripture Readings: 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 and 1 John 4: 7-11 EVENING SERVICE at 7.00 p.m. in the Allen Hall Connect Service – Missionary Aviation Fellowship Mr Chris Mathieson and the Praise Group Cregagh Presbyterian Church 102-104 Cregagh Road Belfast BT6 0ER Tel: 028 9045 5160 Website: cregaghpresbyterian.org Minister: Rev.
