April 2. Please contact him at [email protected] to make
an appointment. The chometz sale will take place shortly after
11:00 A.M. Friday morning April 3. Please be sure to have all
chometz you would like to sell in a designated area by that time.
Sunday March 29
Rabbi Klein of Dallas Kosher will be doing kashering of utensil for
Pesach on Sunday.
Only metal items can be kashered!
Items must be perfectly clean and have not been used for 24
hours beforehand.

Ohr Hatorah 10:00A.M.-12:00 P.M.
Ohev Shalom 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M.
Chabad of Dallas 2:30 P.M.-4:30 P.M.
Thursday April 2
Search for Chometz begins after 8:32 P.M. The ten pieces of
bread used in the search as well as any chometz found during
the search must be burnt Monday morning.
Erev Pesach Friday April 3
The custom is that men or boys who are the oldest in the family
have a choice of either fasting on Friday or attending a Shachris
service that will have a siyum.(celebration of the completion of
the study of a tractate of Talmud or order of Mishna) Fathers of
first born boys who are not yet bar mitzva should either fast or
attend the siyum on behalf of their son.
If there is sufficient interest we will have a minyan for Shachris
with a Siyum. We will let the community know as we get closer.
The last time for eating Chometz is 11:00 A.M.!
The last time for burning Chometz is 12:15 P.M.
When burning the Chometz be sure to do so in a way that it is
completely consumed.
Mincha 7:30 P.M.
Kiddush at the Seder should not be said before 8:33 P.M.
The Afikomen should be eaten before 1:30 A.M.
First Day Pesach Shabbos April 4
Shachris 9:30 A.M.
Mussaf is the last time we say the prayer for rain (Mashiv
Haruach) this year.
Mincha 7:30 P.M. Followed by class and Maariv.
We begin the counting of the Omer tonight.
Candle lighting and preparations for second Seder can not start
before 8:34 P.M.
Afikomen should be eaten before 1:30 A.M.
Second Day Pesach April 16
Shachris 9:30 A.M.
Mincha 7:30 P.M. followed by class and Maariv.
With Maariv Wednesday evening April we begin saying Visein
Bracha instead of Visein Tal Umatar Livracha.
