Students have been working hard all year to meet the reading, science and math expectations of our State Standards. Mother’s Day Cake Decorating DBES PTA and Publix are again teaming up to provide special heart shaped cakes for Mother’s Day. Fourth grade will meet the last two weeks of April and fifth grade will meet the first two weeks in May. Teachers will use lectures, discussions, videos, and a student workbooks for the unit. If you wish to preview the materials, please contact our school nurse, Amy Ponce, on Mondays or Tuesdays; she will be happy to discuss the curriculum. If you do not wish for your child to receive instruction in this area, please notify your child’s teacher in writing prior to the start of the unit.
