Varsity Emerald Belle Information … Read this FIRST! Congratulations on being a member of the 2015-2016 Varsity Emerald Belles. We are excited to meet everyone at the meeting on Monday, May 4th at 4:15 in the cafeteria of Carroll Senior High. We will hold our first Booster Club meeting right after in the cafeteria at 6:30. Please plan on attending both meetings if possible. There are many handouts, decisions, etc. that need to be made before and at the meeting. Below is a summary of what you need to do to prepare for the meeting. Print out all 11 handouts: o 2015-2016 Varsity Emerald Belle Team Order Form – this is the form that you will fill out to place your order for team clothing, bags, etc. Sizers will be available to try on at the meeting. The first payment of 1/3 of your grand total will be due no later than May 15 th. You may pay at the meeting or you may mail it in at a later time. I will send an email out with a copy of your order form, your grand total due and when payments are due. If you choose to break it up into 3 installments, payments will be due May 15th, June 15th and August 15th. All orders must be paid in full by August 15th. o Southlake Logo – Letter Jacket Order Form – this is the order form that you will fill out and return with check for your letter jacket. Sizers will be available to try on at the meeting. o Field Uniform Order Form – (Optional) If you would like to purchase your own field uniform, you will fill out this form and return with check. Sizers will be available to try on at the meeting. o 2015-2016 Emerald Belle Parking Spot Procedures – (for upcoming Juniors/Seniors only) If you would like to reserve a spot in the Belle block of parking spots, I will need you to sign up upon checking in and leave a check for $50. o 2015-2016 Emerald Belle Directory Information – this form needs to be filled out prior to the meeting and turned in at check in o Emerald Belle Summer Dance Classes – this form is for you to keep and fill out over the summer. It will be due in August. o Senior Sell Back List – this is a list of items that our graduating seniors would like to sell back at a discounted price. If you would like to purchase any items from these girls, you must call them over the weekend and set up a pick up time. On Monday, you must know which items you are getting from seniors and which items you will be ordering new from us. o Rex Teter Photography – this sheet explains when and where team photos will take place. These dates and times are mandatory to attend. o A Note from Your Emerald Belle Financial Wizard – this form is an informational letter to familiarize you with the financial side of Belles. Please keep it handy and refer to it throughout the year. o Emerald Belle Performance Make-up – this sheet tells you what kind of makeup the girls will need by August o Parent to Parent – this sheet is another informational sheet to keep handy throughout the year. It has great information about our organization from the parent’s perspective. Be prepared to pay for: o Parking spot (if applicable) - $50 (made payable to CSH) o Jazz shoes, field tights and earrings – approximately $67 (made payable to 5-6-7-8) o Letter Jacket - $216.50 or $238.15 (made payable to Southlake Logo) o Field Uniform (if applicable) – amount due varies depending on what you order (check made payable to Emerald Belles) o Initial deposit of 1/3 of you total due (optional – check made payable to Emerald Belles) Make sure you turn in at check in on Monday: o Parking Spot sign up (upcoming jrs. and srs. only - optional) o Directory Information Make sure to turn in before you leave on Monday: o Letter Jacket order form (at letter jacket station) o Belle team order form (at final checkout with Mrs. Dobrow) o Field uniform order form (optional – at field uniform order form) Items you should take home with you on Monday: o Field skirt – if not buying a new one o Overlay – if not buying a new one o Gauntlets – if not buying a new one o Sleeves – if not buying new ones o Body Suit – if not buying a new one o Black jazz skirt o Rain poncho o Halter top o Long Sleeve top At the start of the meeting, we will go through introductions and pictures of all of the members (both returning and new) so we can meet the new team. Rex Teter will also be going around taking pictures for the directory – make sure to have your picture made! Once introductions are done, we will move into the gyms and rotate through various stations. Please make sure you go to each station and complete whatever is needed at that station. There will be samples for the girls to try on to help them size correctly. You may fill out your order forms as you go through the stations. Below is a list of the stations so you can get an idea of what you will be doing. Please be prepared for the meeting and have your checkbook handy! We like things to run smoothly and need your help and preparation for that to happen. Once you have been through all stations and completed final check out, please make sure you have seen Rex and had your photo made with your daughter for the directory.
