Have an overdue library book? A fine you need to pay?

Here’s how it works:
Return your overdue books to either the Queens or Staten Island
Library Service Desks and have an overdue fine waived with a
donation of a non-perishable food item. One food item will
erase one overdue fine. Fines and fees resulting from lost or
damaged library material and overdue reserve items are NOT
eligible for the food for Fines program.
Donations will also be accepted from anyone in the campus
community wishing to contribute. Bring donations to
St. Augustine Hall, Library, 3rd floor Service Desk.
Suggested non-perishable food items: cereals, canned soup,
canned vegetables, canned fruit, peanut butter, rice, pasta,
Jell-O,canned spaghetti sauce, etc.
No items past the expiration date or dented cans can be accepted.
