What is it?
The center is a safe place where
children and their families can
express their feelings in a
supportive, caring environment
through different activities such
as art, play, high energy games,
music, and open peer discussion.
Who can
come?
Children, ages 4 to 18, along
with their families who have
experienced any type of death.
An adult group is also available
for parents or guardians to share
and gain insight about
children’s grief.
How do I
sign up?
Family orientation is required
before being placed in a group.
For an interview, or if you
are interested in becoming a
trained volunteer, please call the
specific location for more
information.
When is it?
Support groups are open,
ongoing and are held in the
evenings on different nights,
depending on the child’s age.
Please call for specific night.
