PRESS RELEASE For immediate release June 8, 2015 Nearly 200 Global Economic Leaders Gather for the 21st Edition of the Conference of Montreal Montreal, QC – The 21st edition of the Conference of Montreal starts today. This year's theme is Building a Balanced Economy. Close to 200 speakers are invited, including a number of economic leaders who will share their thoughts on the main issues affecting global economic growth. Amongst the topics to be discussed are the future of the energy sector, climate change, infrastructure financing, the work-retirement transition, and investments in research and innovation, particularly in the health sector. "In addition to providing a unique forum for networking and exchanging ideas, the Conference of Montreal is increasingly becoming a platform that encourages economic leaders to work together to identify potential solutions to the challenges associated with balancing economic growth in all regions of the world," points out Nicholas Rémillard, President and Chief Executive Officer of the International Economic Forum of the Americas.
