TOWN OF NEW CASTLE PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT PRESENT THE FLATTOPS PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE & TALBOTT TRAIL FAMILY BIKE SCAVENGER HUNT WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24 - 5:00-8:00 PM You and your family are invited to participate in a FREE bike themed scavenger hunt showcasing our new Flattops Pedestrian Bridge and Talbott Trail! In partnership with Garfield Clean Energy and CLEER, we are offering this awesome opportunity to check out the new pedestrian bridges and wonderful trail to the Apple Tree community during their Ride Garfield County festivities the week of June 19-26. All families/teams will need a digital camera for the hunt! CHECK-IN/REGISTRATION BETWEEN 4:30-6:30 P.M. @ COAL RIDGE PARK (Located on the South side of the Colorado River across from Mr. T’s True Value Hardware) FREE BBQ MEAL FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS FROM 5:30-7:30 P.M. HELMET’S REQUIRED! PRIZES FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS! Ride Garfield County is also offering a Team Challenge in conjunction with the National Bike Challenge (www.nationalbikechallenge.org), and encourages everyone to form teams and participate in this fun event also.
