I wanted to take a minute and say thank you to all the wonderful

Gator Tracks
Volume 4, Issue 36
May 26th-30th
I wanted to take a minute and say thank you to all the wonderful people who
have made PTO successful this year. I especially want to thank my fellow
board members who worked tirelessly to accomplish all of PTO’s goals. Denise
Hoss, Rhonda Carlin, Tammy Moon, and Kellie Craft - thank you, I couldn’t
have done it without you! Secondly, I want to thank all the parents for their
volunteer and financial support. Nothing PTO does could be accomplished
without great volunteers and support through our fundraisers. Finally, I want
to say how much we appreciate the time, collaboration and encouragement
given from Gateway’s administration, staff, and faculty. Teamwork is the key
to success in PTO. With the year coming to an end, we set our sights on the
plans and goals for 2015-2016. Please come out and meet the 2015-2016
PTO Board this Wednesday, May 27th, at our last PTO general meeting of the
year. It will be held in the Student Union at 8:30 a.m..
Have a great summer,
Robin Brinegar
2014-2015 Gateway PTO Chair

To our Gateway Parents,
As we near the end of the school year, we are in the process of getting our books ready for closure.
To accomplish, this we will no longer allow charging (credit) in the cafeteria beginning May 11, 2015.
This means students who wish to purchase lunch or snacks will need to have money in their lunch
accounts, or money in hand. Payments can still be made via PayPams online, dropped in the office
or our cafeteria. Any money left in the accounts at the end of the year will roll over into next school
year. In the event that you have a graduating senior, their funds will be transferred to younger
siblings. If no siblings are on campus, money will be refunded, via check in the mail to an address
you provide. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at
[email protected].
Thank you and have a great day!

purchases on this card to Gateway PTO! Simply log into your Target
card account and click on "Take Charge of Education" at the
bottom. Enter Gateway's zip code of 78626, then choose Gateway and
save the changes. There is nothing more to do!
Amazon Smile:
Did you know that you can earn money for Gateway PTO while you
shop? Amazon will donate .5% of the price of your eligible Amazon
purchase to the charitable organization of your choice. Simply go
to http://smile.amazon.com/, which is the same Amazon you
already know - same products, same prices, same service. Just enter "Gateway Prep Pto" in
the search box and click on the correct result. Simply continue your shopping on Amazon as
you always do. Please remember to always start your Amazon shopping at http://
smile.amazon.com/ so that it will count. (Note...although Orenda Education is listed in the list
of charities, they have decided not to participate in this program. If you choose Orenda, they
will not receive the donation.)
Coke Rewards:
Go to the Coke Rewards Page and register to set up an account. Under the
“schools” tab, click “donate to a school”. Enter zip code 78626 and scroll down to

EITHER! They will send you a bag (for free) to send in your gently used student's

purchases are donated back to the school. Just be sure to make sure your donation and/or
purchase is registered under "Gateway College Preparatory School" for us to benefit! For
more information, visit our page on Schoola’s website.
Capri Sun Pouches:
Please empty and save your Capri Sun pouches. We can
