Berkshire Road between Roe Highway

NIGHT TIME CLOSURE
Berkshire Rd between Roe Hwy and Harrison Rd, Forrestfield
30 & 31 March 2015
The intersection of Roe Highway / Berkshire Road is currently being upgraded to a grade separated interchange, where
Roe Highway traffic will travel over the top of Berkshire Road, allowing a free-flow movement.
To facilitate the upgrade, the project team is currently constructing a temporary intersection to the north (towards the
industrial area) of the existing intersection, which traffic is expected to be realigned onto during April 2015. Temporarily
realigning the intersection will open up more work area to allow the construction of the new Roe Highway bridge to start.
In order to progress the construction of the temporary Roe
Highway / Berkshire Road intersection, the closure of
Berkshire Road northbound between Roe Highway and
Harrison Road is temporarily required.

This closure will be in place during periods, weather
permitting:

7pm, Monday 30 until 5am Tuesday 31 March
2015
7pm, Tuesday 31 March until 5am, Wednesday 1
April 2015.
During these periods, road users will not be able to access
Berkshire Road (northern side / industrial side) from Roe
Highway. Access onto Roe Highway from this section of
Berkshire Road will remain open.

closures.
Signage will be in place to guide road users through these
changed traffic conditions and the alternate routes.
Road users are encouraged to plan ahead and avoid the area
if possible, or factor extra travel time into their journey.
