15 January 2015 DUNREATH DRIVE, Perth Airport Estate E Temporary intersection closure From 12am Tuesday 27 January 2015 The $1 billion Gateway WA project will create landmark road infrastructure around the Perth Airport and the freight and industrial hubs of Kewdale & Forrestfield. As part of the project a section of Tonkin Highway will be widened and a new interchange will be constructed at the Tonkin Highway / Leach Highway intersection. Construction of the upgraded infrastructure is progressing with ongoing work taking place in the vicinity of Dunreath Drive. In order for the Gateway WA team to construct the new alignment of Tonkin Highway and make some temporary modifications at the Tonkin Highway / Dunreath Drive intersection, access between Tonkin Highway and Dunreath Drive will be closed to all traffic from 12am Tuesday 27 January for approximately three weeks. During this closure period, traffic ffic will be able to travel between Tonkin Highway and Dunreath Drive via Brearley Avenue / Great Eastern Highway or Horrie Miller Drive. Signage will be in place to guide motorists through the changed traffic conditions and detours. detour The travelling public are encouraged to plan ahead and factor extra time into their journey, as there may be delays.
