We are pleased to inform you that the 27th Annual Conference of Gemeinschaft
Chinesischer Chemiker und Chemieingenieure in Deutschland e.V. (GCCCD) will be held
on Aug. 28-29, 2015 in Jena, Germany. The theme of the conference will be “Chemistry
Makes a Better Life”. As usual, there will be several scientific sessions with specific
topics, a poster session, as well as a special session of industry and career.
The latest and the most exciting aspects concerning chemistry and related areas will be
discussed and renowned chemists and industrial representatives will be present. Current
invited speakers are:

Prof. Dr. Jürgen Popp (Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology)
Prof. Dr. Gerhard K. E. Scriba (Friedrich Schiller University Jena)
Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Weigand (Friedrich Schiller University Jena)
Dr. Lisong Xiao (University of Duisburg-Essen)
In addition, the second “GCCCD Young Researchers Award” will be awarded to
enthusiastic and talented researchers. We will also provide job information for the
participants during the conference.

also see “Registered” for the “27th Annual Conference” under “Your activities” on

2. Call for Oral and Poster Presentations:
Oral presentation:
Please submit the abstract of your oral presentation together with your CV in English to
[email protected] with specified E-mail subject “2015 GCCCD Oral Talk Application” no
later than August 01, 2015.
The presentation is composed of 15 minutes of speech and 5 minutes of discussion.
Poster presentation:
Please submit the abstract of your poster presentation together with the title, presenting
author, and affiliation in English to [email protected] with specified E-mail subject “2015
GCCCD Poster Application” no later than August 01, 2015.
Please note that the recommended conference language is English. We will reply and
confirm your application as soon as possible.
3. Fees and allowances:
Coffee-breaks during the conference will be provided for registered participants for free.
Participants from Jena get allowance for day tickets but no allowance for accommodation.
Participants from Thüringen get allowance for transportation (state ticket). Participants
from other places get allowance (accommodation + transportation) up to 55 Euros. All
participants are kindly asked to finish the registration on-line no later than August 08,

2015. The registration fee is 7 Euros per person. We strongly recommend participants to
book tickets and hotels as early as possible in order to get favorable prices.
