Parent Portal Authentication Process

To access the portal log in, click on the link below and begin the
authentication process. We recommend you bookmark this link for future use:

Your personal log in information is as follows:
Login Name: YOUR LOGIN NAME
Phone number: YOUR LOGIN PHONE NUMBER
E-mail address: YOUR LOGIN EMAIL ADDRESS
Password: YOUR PASSWORD
To authenticate your parent portal account, type hdsb.schoolconnects.com into your
browser. You will see the following parent portal login screen:
Enter your login name, phone number OR email address in the “Login Name:” field
AND the password provided in the email in the “Password:” field and click the green
“Log In” button to log into your parent portal account.
If you have not authenticated your account, a popup screen will appear to step you
through the authentication process.

The authentication process involves SchoolConnects calling the phone number
listed in the email and playing an additional confirmation number to the caller.
Make sure that you able to receive a call to that phone number.
Enter the confirmation number in the “Please input the authentication code” box and
press the green “Go” button.
Once the confirmation number is entered correctly on screen, you will have access to
your parent portal account.
You have a limited number of authentication attempts before you are locked out of the
parent portal. If you get locked out, contact your school to get your account reset.
