Scholarship Application
In 2015, GYGSA will be offering 4 scholarships:
$500.00 Brenda Reifel Memorial Scholarship
$500.00 Bob Tormaschy Memorial Scholarship
$500.00 GYGSA General Scholarship
$500.00 Al Reyer Memorial Scholarship
The scholarship application (below) is good for all of the above scholarships. The
applicant only needs to fill out one application and they will be considered for all 4
scholarships. Only one scholarship will be awarded to an applicant.
CRITERIA:
 The recipient must have played softball in the Greater Yakima Girls Softball
Association for at least 2 years.
 The scholarship must be used to further the recipient’s formal education.
 This may be at a 2 or 4 year college, or accredited Vocational / Technical School.
 Only complete applications will be accepted
 Include two letters of recommendation
 Attach a high school transcript of grades
 Must be a high school senior with a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
 Deadline for application is June 1, 2015.
