Welcome to the Farmers Market! We are excited that you have chosen to participate. Follow these easy steps: 1. Please fill out and sign the application form. 2. Along with the form, attach copies of all required permits and licenses as necessary for your business. (Ex: Sales tax certificate, liability insurance, nursery registration certificate, home processing exemption inspection report, etc.) 3. Complete and sign the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement. 4. Mail application to: HAYC3, Attention: Farmers Market, PO Box 492, Hoosick Falls, NY 12090. Signature ___________________________________________________________ Date _____________________________________ Responsibilities of Farmer’s Market Membership • Each vender shall fill out a market registration form and hold his/her possession a copy of the marketing policy, which acts as an acknowledgement of compliance to marketing policies for the 2014-­‐2015 season. • Spaces are $20/month during the growing season, which meets weekly (July-­‐August). • Space size is 10‘x10’. • Electricity at the market will only be available to entertainment. • Vendors set up their space starting at 3:00pm. Space is available first come first served. • Vendors are responsible for pricing, business licensing, product liability, and sales tax collection. • Vendors may not break down their stall until market closing time (7:00pm). • All vendors will remain at the site until the site is cleaned (please take all items that were brought in with you). • The vendor/owner is the individual signing the registration form. He/She is responsible for conformance to the policy and the goods brought to the market and is accountable for the origin of such goods. • The geographic areas are Rensselaer County and all adjacent counties Vermont counties as well as Washington County, New York. Produce or crafts must be marked with appropriate labels of origin. • Remember: If you don’t grow it, bake it or make it, don’t bring it to the market!
