This is an invitation for you to participate as a vendor in our Lamb and Wool Fair in Scio, Oregon. Please
complete and return the application if you are interested. Space is limited and allocated to past vendors with
application fees in by March 30th. Then on a first come basis, so promptness is important. Please note that we
have activities in more than one location, vendors may be placed at any of these locations as needed. The
decision of the Vendor coordinator is final.
The food vendor’s are required to have tape registers, rate is $70.00 plus 10% of sales (due each night before
leaving the fair grounds) All other vendors rate is $50.00. We accept nonprofit / for profit food booths, craft /
homemade and commercial vendors as vendor booths. Please fully describe your product in the space provided
on your application. Every effort is made not to duplicate food and craft items.
The following products are unacceptable to us and vendors of them will be denied participation:Weapons (gun,
swords) or look alike weapons, including, but not limited to squirt guns, plastic swords, etc, toys that shoot
projectiles, sparks or burst in any way; T-shirts, sweatshirts or any other products that have logos or contain
illustrations with violence, strong sexual, gang or drug related contents:aerosol string or colored hair spray. The
fair board may bar other items at its discretion.
The following rules are important:
1. Food vendors will need to make arrangements to set up in advance. (Thursday by appt.)
NON-food Vendors set up between 8:00am & 11:00am, Friday. The Fair officially opens at Noon. It is
encouraged to be setup before noon for lunch. If a vendor purchases a site & fails to appear by 11am, the
site may be given to another vendor to maintain a central vending area. Late and Overflow vendors will
be accommodated as space is available.
1. Hours of operation are Friday noon to midnight*. (Crowd attendance will determine how late we
will stay open.) Saturday 9:00am to 11:00pm* and Sunday 9:00am to 3:00pm. Please note for
Safety reasons all booth break downs will be after 3 pm on Sunday. Early Breakdown will remove you
as a future vendor.
2. Please check in with the fairgrounds manager upon arrival. Vendor placement map will be
available at our information booth and with the manager. All changes must be approved. Any
refunds will be made after the Fair (if approved by the Fair Board.)
3. Applications postmarked after April 30th will be subjected to a $10 late fee. No post-dated checks or
arrangements for late payments. No site shall be considered rented until payment is made. Sites
reserved with a bad check will be given to another applicant.
4. We reserve the right to enforce a performance bond on any vendor in the amount we choose. We
reserve the right to deny continued participation if necessary.
5. We enhance security with County Deputies, lighting and we try to provide security personnel, but
theft and vandalism have occurred in the past and each vendor should take appropriate measures
to protect their property.

I, as a vendor, accept any and all responsibilities for any loss or damage that may occur to any articles
exhibited. Also, if any damage, loss or injury to person or property shall be caused by reason of any neglect or
willful act of any person, firm or corporation, or their agents, representatives, or employees having the privilege
to be present, the Linn Co.Lamb and Wool Fair and their committees, volunteers, and vendors shall in no
manner be responsible and/or liable. My payment acknowledges that I have read this and that I am responsible
for any cost incurred as a result of damages caused by my product(s) to the facilities and/or persons.
