The Hawai‘i Island Women’s Leadership Forum is pleased to announce Kata Issari,
Vice President, Joyful Heart Foundation, Hawai‘i Region, as our keynote speaker for
the inaugural Hawai‘i Island Women’s Leadership Summit on April 24, 2015, at the
Hilton Waikoloa Village!
Kata has been working in the field of sexual and domestic violence for 30 years as
an advocate, educator, fundraiser, therapist and community activist. Believing
strongly in the power of communities to create lasting change, she will share her
vision of empowering women and inspiring them to assume leadership roles.
