“Wavee with The Sam Willows Contest” Terms and Conditions
1. This Contest is open to all Singapore citizens and permanent residents. Employees
and agents of Singtel, as well as contractors or subcontractors engaged in connection
with the development or operation of the Contest, and their immediate family members,
are not eligible to enter the Contest. Persons below the age of 18 are required to obtain
their parents’ consent before participating in the Contest, and confirm to Singtel that such
consent has been given, by their participation in the Contest. Singtel reserves the right to
not allow participation by any person, at its discretion. Each participant is solely
responsible for ensuring that participating in Contest is not illegal or prohibited by the
laws or regulations of any country relevant or applicable to the participant. Singtel
reserves the right to disqualify an otherwise eligible person from winning a prize and/or
substitute another person as the winner in the event that Singtel in its absolute discretion
believes that the particular person may have contravened, will contravene or has
contravened any of these Terms and/or may bring Singtel into disrepute. In the event the
prize has already been awarded to such a person, the prize must be returned to Singtel
at such person’s cost and expense.
2. Participants can submit as many entries as they like but each Participant can only win
1 prize in the Contest.
3. Participants are required to download Wavee and entries must be submitted on
Wavee to the designated contest mobile number(s) to be eligible.
4. This Contest runs from 27 April 2015 till 15 May 2015.
5. All entries must be received before 23:59 hours on Friday, 15 May 2015 to the
designated contest mobile number at 97292143 using Wavee.
6. By submitting the entries, participants agree and acknowledge that all personal data
submitted may be collected, processed, stored, disclosed or otherwise used by Singtel
and its affiliates for the purposes of conducting and administering the “Wavee with The
Sam Willows Contest” and is subject to Singtel Data Protection Policy
(http://info.singtel.com/personal/dataprotection) and Singtel General Terms & Conditions
(http://info.singtel.com/terms-general).
7. By participating in the Contest, each Participant represents and warrants that he/she
has met the eligibility criteria set out under Clause 1 above and consents to the use by
Singtel or Singtel Mobile of his/her personal information for feedback, promotional and
marketing purposes. Each Participant also consents to Singtel and The Sam Willows
using the name and picture/photograph of the winner (including any
pictures/photographs included any Contest entry) in in any advertising and/or
promotional materials and/or on Singtel websites without further notice, and may

otherwise engage the winner in any form of publicity for Singtel. Participant also agrees
that Singtel may use the pictures/photographs (or parts thereof) uploaded by the
Participant for the purposes of marketing, advertising or publicity in association with the
Contest.
8. Participants shall participate in the Contest on his or her own Wavee account, and
shall not participate on behalf of other persons. Singtel may from time to time in its
absolute discretion decide on the eligibility for participation in the Contest.
9. Singtel shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever to the participant or any other
party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a participant as a result of
participation in this Contest or as a result of any act or omission pertaining thereto.
10. The winners will be announced by 18 May 2015 or such other date as Singtel may
determine at its sole and absolute discretion. The winners will be announced via The
Sam Willows’ members’ instagram accounts, and winners will be contacted by Singtel
through the details submitted together with the entry. If a winner is unable to be
contacted, or do not acknowledge via email/telephone within 24 hours from notification
issued from Singtel, such winner will be disqualified and a replacement winner may be
selected at Singtel’s discretion.
11. There shall be two (2) winners who can each bring along a friend of their choice from
the Contest who will win a dinner date with Benjamin, Narelle, Sandra and Jon from The
Sam Willows. The winners will be determined by The Sam Willows at their sole
discretion based on the most creative entry.
12. The prize is not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. In the event that
the prize incurs any tax liability, such tax is the sole responsibility of the winner.
13. Singtel may at its sole discretion make prize substitutions without prior notice to any
person. Any prizes won or accepted shall be given on an “as-is” basis and are not
returnable. Singtel expressly disclaims any warranties express or implied in connection
with any prizes to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws. The prizes may be
subject to additional terms and conditions, and Participants agree to comply with all
terms and conditions applicable to the Prizes.
14. Where prizes contain a specific date during which the prize should be utilized, no
requests for extensions or replacements whatsoever will be entertained.
15. Singtel’s decision on all matters relating to this Contest shall be final and binding. No
further correspondence regarding this Contest, these Terms or any decision made by
Singtel in connection therewith and/or the results will be entertained.

16. Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos or intellectual property contained in any
materials used in connection with this Contest, in particular that relating to the prizes, are
the property of their respective owners. Singtel and its affiliates and contractors are not
affiliated with, or endorsed or sponsored by, such owners and their relevant affiliates.
17. By entering into this Contest, each Participant agrees that Singtel, its respective
affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers,
directors, and employees (the “Relevant Organisers”) shall not be liable for injury, loss,
claims or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with participating in this
Contest, the Participants’ acts, omissions or negligence and/or from the acceptance or
use/misuse of the prize awarded. Each Participant agrees to waive and release the
Relevant Organisers from the abovementioned claims and liabilities. This includes,
without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on
publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, to the extent not prohibited by
applicable written laws.
18. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each Participant agrees to indemnify
Singtel against any losses, damages, costs, expenses, claims or liabilities of any kind
arising in connection with his or her participation in the Contest.
19. By participating in the Contest, Participants hereby consent to and authorize Singtel
to use at its sole discretion, without further compensation to the Participants, any of their
names, addresses, personal details, photographs, videotapes or any likeness of them for
packaging, promotional, advertising, marketing and/or publicity purposes (where not
prohibited by written law), and to the use of statements or any creative content made by
or attributed to winners of this Contest, and any rights in connection therewith.
20. Singtel is not responsible or liable for delayed, lost, stolen, incomplete, late or
misdirected entries and submissions caused by any reason whatsoever, including but
not limited to service delays, interruptions, failures or overloads, telephone lines, and/or
postal/internet services.
21. Singtel reserves the right to:
(i) disqualify any Participant and/or pursue legal action against any person which it
believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful or prejudicial to
this Contest or its entry submission process;
(ii) terminate or cancel the Contest, in whole or in part, without prior notice and at any
time, or modify the Contest in any way, without liability to any person; and
(iii) vary or modify these Terms in such manner as Singtel deems fit, without giving
notice or reason, and without any liability to Participants. Any such changes shall be
binding and will take effect immediately upon such amendment.
22. These Terms shall be governed by Singapore law and each Participant agrees to
submit any claim, dispute or controversy to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of
the Republic of Singapore.
