This project won the 2010 International Competition of Ideas: Atrium of the Alhambra. As one of the most eminent of UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Alhambra in Granada represents a period of respect for diversity, pluralism and the co-existence of the Islamic and Christian cultures. Hugin works mainly with video, and has received acclaim for her performance-based video works in the series Motholic Mobble. Thematically speaking, these works center on different existential questions and are characterized by an unsettling atmosphere. It is surreal and ghastly, but, at the same time, humor is also an important tool. The exhibition shows works from the Motholic Mobble series, included Motholic Mobble part 10 (2015) which is shown here for the first time.
