This weekend´s big happening is the 17th May national holiday, and it will color
the city this Sunday!
The official celebrations will start early with parades, concerts, speeches and
general merrymaking all over the country.
In Oslo, the Royal Palace Square is a popular spot, and many will gather there
to get a glimpse of the Royal Family waving from the balcony to the passing
procession. Make sure to get your tickets to the Palace Square beforehand at the
City Hall.
Bring good humour and don’t forget the Norwegian flag!

Visions of the Alhambra, Arkitekturmuseet, until May 16
The exhibition Visions of the Alhambra presents the project “New Gate of the Alhambra”,
designed by the world famous Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza Vieira in collaboration
with the Spanish architect Juan Domingo Santos.
This project won the 2010 International Competition of Ideas: Atrium of the Alhambra.
As one of the most eminent of UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Alhambra in Granada
represents a period of respect for diversity, pluralism and the co-existence of the Islamic
and Christian cultures.

A Movable Trace, Vigeland-museet, until May 16 from 10.00 – 17.00
The Vigeland museum presents an exhibition of works by Norwegian artist Kaia Hugin.
Hugin works mainly with video, and has received acclaim for her performance-based
video works in the series Motholic Mobble. Thematically speaking, these works center on
different existential questions and are characterized by an unsettling atmosphere. It is
surreal and ghastly, but, at the same time, humor is also an important tool.
The exhibition shows works from the Motholic Mobble series, included Motholic Mobble
part 10 (2015) which is shown here for the first time. The exhibition additionally includes
a series of new photos, inspired by the American artist Bruce Nauman.

5 Seconds of Summer became a household name after the hit singles “She
Looks So Perfect” and “Don’t Stop” took their album to number one on iTunes in
over 70 countries. In 2015 they are embarking on a two-month European tour
and Oslo is a part of their list.

Super star Bebe Rexha gives an exclusive club concert at Parkteatret. She has written
global hits for Rihanna and Eminem and fronted the group BlackCards. Now, her solo
