Position Summary:
Teacher of EAL of Secondary School.
Responsibilities:

Teach EAL in grades six through twelve
Communicate and meet with parents
Administer in-class student support
Provide structured subject support
Record and share with parents assessment data at regular intervals during the school year
Collaborate with colleagues from within and outside of the department
Engage in professional development
Teach IB – Language B
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a degree in English/EAL and a current teacher certification. Experience with
MYP and PBL and experience with teaching the IB DP is preferred. Training in current
methodology in the teaching of English as an Additional Language at Middle and High School level
is advantageous.

Starting date is 1 August 2015
The position is initially limited to two years until 31 July 2017
The position is a full-time position
Remuneration in accordance with Works Agreement / Teacher Scale
