Current Responsibilities
Tim is the AVP of Loss Prevention and Corporate Safety & Security Officer for IASIS
Healthcare. IASIS Healthcare owns and operates 20 general, acute-care hospitals and one
behavioral hospital in Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, Nevada, Texas, Colorado and Utah.
IASIS Healthcare also owns and operates Health Choice, a Medicaid and Medicare
managed health plan in Phoenix. Nearly 15,000 people are dedicated to providing patient
care through IASIS community-based hospital networks. Tim’s current role is to manage
all aspects of the company’s Safety Program, Workers Compensation Program and the
Seaboard Injury Plan of Texas (Texas Non-Subscription ERISA Plan). He is also
responsible for managing security, equipment maintenance and property risk throughout
the IASIS Healthcare system.
Experience
Tim has over 25 years of industry experience, working extensively in the risk consulting
field. His previous leadership role as Senior Vice President with Marsh had him leading
new consulting sales for the Southeast and prior to that, developing Marsh’s Healthcare
consulting practice. Prior to joining Marsh in 1998, he worked for the Yasuda Fire &
Marine Insurance Company, Ltd. as their foreign operations (U.S.), Ergonomics
Specialist and domestic business development leader.
Prior to his tenure at Yasuda, he worked for the USF&G Insurance companies as a Senior
Consultant, Practice Manager, and Field Underwriter. Tim has a very diverse background
with his consulting focused primarily on the manufacturing, construction, transportation,
and healthcare industries.
