Educational Program Focus:
 4-H
Deliver effective youth development/growth by teaching youth
life skills. Most teaching focuses on fitness(healthy food choices
and exercise) & gardening.
 Horticulture
Teach Florida –friendly landscaping practices for homeowners
to maintain lawns, landscapes, and gardens. Assist clientele with
plant and weed identification. Provide educational programming
for commercial horticulture professionals ( best management
practices, pesticide licensing). Also responsible for the Master
Gardener Programming.
 Small Farms
Provide educational programming to local-area small farms on alternative enterprises,
production techniques, marketing, crop selection, best management practices, and
government regulations.
