Thank you to departing president Stephanie Schulz and treasurer Rose Lynch for their years of service on the board. They will not be on the Board next year, but they will still be volunteering with the band! In the next few weeks, we will be seeking volunteers for the many chair positions we have. If you’d like to continue in your current position, it would help us out if you could contact one of the board members and let us know your intentions. Financial Update: The band still has about $30,000 in student-owed fees, including $14,000 in Spirit of Jupiter fees, $9,000 in Winter Guard/Percussion fees, and $8,000 for students who are not in a co-curricular activity. Students who owe fees have been placed on the school’s obligation list, which means those students will not be able to purchase a ticket to the band banquet or participate in Project Graduation and other senior events. Please pay your fees as soon as possible, as we are currently paying our bills with funds designated for the 2015-2016 school year. If you have any questions regarding your financial standing with the band, please contact Assistant Treasurer Gina Phinney at [email protected].
