LAKEVIEW CENTENNIAL HS PATRIOT BAND Itinerary for October 18, Wylie Marching Invitational Please Note: Students will need to eat a good breakfast before coming to the runthrough (NO MILK PLEASE!). Students will participate in the run-through wearing their bibbers with black band shorts, band shirt, black socks, and black marching shoes. Guard will run through in their guard jersey and black guard shorts. Students should bring the remainder of their uniform in their garment bag (with their name tag on it).                   8:30 am: Arrive, move out to field 9:00: Run-through begins. DO NOT BE LATE. This is when the run-through begins, not when you should arrive at school. A director will be there at 8:00. 10:00: Load truck & trailers, move inside, cool off 10:30: Brunch 11:30: Inspection (cafeteria), get breast plate 12:00 pm: Depart for Pirate Stadium, Wylie ISD 12:45: Check in, unload (leave cases out by truck), restroom, plumes 1:30: Body warm up 1:45: Ready area 2:00: Music Warm up 2:30: Depart Warm-up for stadium 2:45: Perform show for audience (prelims) 3:00: Move to buses to leave hats, guard equipment, and jackets (if need be) 3:45: Watch DVD (Ensemble Room), move to stands for performances 4:00: Back to buses for early dinner 4:45: Back to stands for UTA exhibition band, and Awards Ceremony 5:00: Drum Majors and Guard Captains to tunnel 5:15: Prelims Awards Ceremony The following portion of the schedule is fluid, as everything depends on how we place based on our prelims performance. This is the most information we have at this time:     6:45 pm: Arrive back @ LCHS (IF we don’t make Finals) 7:15 pm: 10th Place Finals Performance 10:15 pm: Finals Awards 11:30 pm: Arrive back @ LCHS (IF we do make Finals) You will need to pick your child up from school at either 6:45 pm or 11:30 pm. We will not know which time until the 5:15 pm Awards Ceremony. I will send out the results in a mass text. Please be sure you have signed up for the band Remind101 text messaging service. Band: Full Uniform. Bring Garment Bag with all items: Jacket, Bibber, black socks (over the calf), black marching shoes, hat (w/ box), gloves, and rain poncho. Guard: Full uniform and make up, rain poncho. Gate cost: $5.00. Pre-school aged children get in free.
