Members: I have read and understand the Arroyo KNIGHTS BAND AND COLOR GUARD Hand
Book, including the Code of Conduct, and agree to follow its rules and policies.
Parents: I have also read and understand the responsibilities of parents of members, and agree to support
my son/daughter in their chosen activity. I will also participate in and attend at least THREE
activities during the school year. As a parent, I understand the importance of and need for my
participation and support of my child in the band and color guard. I will participate in the following
activities:
_____ Fireworks Booth (July 1 – July 4)
Rose Parade float decorating (December 26 – January 1)
Arroyo – 8th Grade Band Day (during Fall football season)
______Chaperoning at football games(Fall semester)
______Chaperoning at parades, field tournaments and/or music festivals (Fall and Spring)
Driving equipment trucks or support vehicles on trips (Fall and Spring)
______Fundraising Activities as planned by the Arroyo Band Boosters and the Band and Color
Guard members
______Chaperoning for Indoor Drum line/Percussion and/or Winter Guard competitions
______Assisting at Concerts/Festivals/Performances held at Arroyo
I also understand that at the end of my son/daughters tenure with the Arroyo BAND AND COLOR
GUARD, all monies left in their account will be transferred to a scholarship account.
