SPOTLIGHT
Sunday, May 3, 2015
National Day of Prayer
Thursday, May 7th
We want to pray for our nation, our community, and our church. There are two ways to participate on this day.
First, as a church family we will pray continuously throughout the day. You can sign up for a 10 minute time slot, to pray wherever
you are. Sign up at Kearneyefree.com/prayer.
Secondly, there is a lunch hour prayer time from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at the Harmon Park stage and picnic area on 31st Street and
5th Avenue. Please join in for a time of adoration, confession, thanksgiving and supplication. We will intercede for our nation in a
number of areas. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and a Bible.
Join the eFree Kids Ministry Team!
As we prepare for the Summer Sunday School season, we need many new leaders, helpers and support people to join our team.
Please sign-up today at the kiosk in the main hallway, and let us answer any questions you might have.
You may email any questions to Kent Sundberg at: [email protected].
Save the Date for VBS 2015!
July 13th-17th, 5:45 pm-8:00 pm
“Journey Off The Map” is for kids age 4 up to 4th grade. If you would like to volunteer to help with VBS, contact Pastor Kent for

Four Additional Superlatives of Love’s Code of Conduct…1 Corinthians13:5
I. LOVE IS NOT ___________________________. II. LOVE IS NOT ___________________________.
As you drive, talk with your child about one
way he can be a happy helper when you get
where you are going. Can he carry something
for you? Clean up around his seat? Help
you find an item at the store? There’s always
something a child can do to be a happy
helper! When you get back in the car, praise
your child for completing the task and for
being such an awesome happy helper!
Elementary:
Walk this Way (Proverbs 10:9)
BOTTOM LINE: Being truthful helps you stay
out of trouble
Ask a kid:Why do you think honesty can
be hard when you’re playing a sport or a
game?
Ask a parent: What is a major advantage
to being honest about your mistakes,
even when they’re done in secret?
III. LOVE IS NOT ___________________________.
IV. LOVE IS NOT ___________________________.
