Additional Information Dress: Part of the excitement for the graduates is getting “dressed up” for the evening. However, this is a grade eight graduation for young adolescents, therefore, formal clothing is NOT required. Dress up clothing that can be worn again is most appropriate. Space Constraints: As our gym only holds 700 people, and there are over 100 graduates, we are requesting that each graduate invite a maximum of 4 - 5 guests to the ceremony. Other students in attendance must be immediate family members of the graduate. Reception: Refreshments will be provided in the cafeteria. Dance: 1. Only Kenner Intermediate grade 8 graduates are invited to the dance which will be supervised by staff. 2. Any student who leaves the dance early will not be allowed re-admittance to the dance. 3. Please pick up students no later than 10:30 p.m. Supervision: Students are well supervised during the ceremony and the dance. If you are concerned about pre and post graduation activities, held outside of the school, it is in your best interests to personally supervise your child at these activities.
