Where2B Submission Guildelines: Events are listed for FREE if they have news value to the public. Paid promotional opportunities are also available by calling 262‐656‐6371. To submit an event, a unique login must be created through CitySpark, our software vendor. This is free and separate from your Kenosha News login. Creating an account allows you to create a personal favorites list and more. Events publicizing a business‐orientated sale/event or commercial advertising of a product will NOT be accepted as a FREE calendar event listing. However, promotional space can purchased on the calendar by calling 262‐656‐6371 or by clicking on the “Advertise Here” button on the website. Kenosha News reserves the right to edit events for length and/or content, as well as reserve the right to refuse any event. Submissions to the online calendar will have consideration for appearing in the Kenosha News print publication; however, it is not a guarantee your event will appear in print. Paid promoted events will receive consideration for additional Where2B promotion on social media and our weekly Where2B email. Frequently Asked Questions: How do I login? If you have never logged into the CitySpark calendar portal before, you want to click “Need a login? Create new CitySpark account” below the yellow “Sign In” button on the login screen. Your login email and password is separate from your Kenosha News subscription login. You do not have to be a subscriber to the Kenosha News in order to use the Where2B CitySpark calendar. You can also login using your Google+ or Facebook account. If you have created a login and cannot remember your password, click “Forgot Password.” You can also login by clicking on the “person” icon at the top of the calendar. Why do I need to login? You only need to log into the CitySpark calendar if you are adding a new event, editing an existing event, promoting an event or creating a personal “Favorites” list of events from the calendar. Requiring users to login allows us to have contact information for event verification. We strive to provide a accurate and comprehensive list of activities for the Kenosha community. How can I promote my event? Event organizers can promote an event with a credit card purchase directly from the Where2B CitySpark calendar, or by contacting Jacki Larisch at 262‐656‐6371 (email: [email protected]). By directly contacting our sales staff, organizers have opportunities for discounted rates and promotional packages. Along with promotion on the calendar, paid advertisers are considered for additional Where2B social media posts and emphasis in our weekly Where2B email that is free to the public to sign up for. It is sent every Thursday with a wrap‐up of upcoming events for the next week. Promoting your event with Where2B allows you to reach a wide audience beyond Kenosha News subscribers. How do I create a “Favorites” list? Once you are logged into the calendar, each event will have a “star” icon at the top left corner of the picture. Click on the star on the event and it will be added to your favorites list. You can access your full list of favorite events by clicking on the “star” icon at the top of the calendar.
