© Lakeside Rooms
January 2015
Commencing Thursday 14 May 2015 •
5.30pm – 7.30pm over 8 weeks (subject to numbers)
This group is suitable for individuals actively interested in secular mindfulness practice, and in developing ways
to manage the challenges of everyday living. The course is suitable for anyone committed to living life more
fully and in the present, including individuals who may have experienced stress, anxiety or depression.
Participants engage in experiential learning of the three core mindfulness practices, guided by an experienced
clinical psychologist and MBCT facilitator. Throughout the course, participants are guided to explore ways of
integrating mindful awareness into their own lives, while learning to become more responsive, rather than
reactive, to the challenges and stressors that life brings.
