Another Big … Big … Congrats to the Ladies Pennants Team ..they
came first in their 2nd Round Game last week at Turangi!!!.
OSH Stuff …
There are new rules around the Healthy & Safety
in the Clubrooms & on the course! These will
apply ‘To You!!’, especially if you regularly bring
visitors to the club. Take note of the Emergency
Procedures … The “Designated Evacuation
Area” for our club is the “Practice Putting
Green!” - for all Emergencies you must DIAL
111 – in a Medical Emergency, the First Aid
Kit is at the Servery of the Kitchen & the
“Defibrillator” is kept “At the Pro-Shop!”
If any incident occurs report it at the earliest you
can to either the executive or a committee
member so appropriate reporting & remedial
actions/procedures can be put in place

Here’s the results for the final round of the ‘Vice Captains
Trophy’ and the ‘Pat O'Conner Memorial’.
Vice Captains Trophy Winner : A Hoogeveen +18 - Runner

Our next competition is Stroke Play with the first round on
11/04/15. There will be 4 divisions,
Snr, Int, Jnr, and C Grade. This will also be the first round for
the ‘Melton Hows Trophy’ which is played on nett over the
four divisions. You don't need to play in your division for
stroke play, you may play with whoever you want as long as
your card is left IN THE PLASTIC CONTAINER ON THE
BAR.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CARD IS FILLED OUT
CORRECTLY.
You can book your tee times by ringing :Paul at the Pro Shop.

Ok then …now results from last Saturday's meat Pack
tournament. Sorry but I have miss- placed my results sheet
with the Stableford points on it, but I know first place went
to ‘yours truly’ with 48 pts, then Willy Bayliss came in with 45
points, following that were some with 42, 41,40, and then
down to 36.
Because of lack of communication between myself and Willy
the entry fee was at $20.00 and we had a lot of members that
didn’t go in the meat tournament because of that; from now
on our members will pay $15.00 and non-members
$25.00. We also gave out more meat packs than we hoped to
give but we still made a small profit. Our thanks also goes out
to Ray Cunningham for running the meat pack raffles for the
club… By the way I think he won two of the three raffles and
was runner up in one, but it was all above board!!! lol
That’s all from me, I hope you all have a great Easter with
your Whanau and be careful out there if you are travelling.

The Lakeview Intermediate Pennant team of Paul Cooper, Henry
Tibble, Jaebo Crisp, Eddie Flint, Jared Cottle & Godfrey Turner played
Murupara at Taupo Centennial recently it was supposed to be at Taupo
Tauhara but a communication breakdown meant that course was prepared for
a charity event on the same day complete with 15" holes on each green - so
back to Centennial 2 weeks after coring however the greens had come back
quite well. It seemed to suit us however as we won 2 foursomes out of 3 and
in the afternoon we won 3 singles, halved 2 more and only lost 1 giving a 6-3
result.The extra 2 points for winning took us from 4th to 3rd overall Current standings Hamurana 15.5 Taupo 12.5 Lakeview 11 Rotorua 10.5 and
Murupara 5.5. The standout result was Jared Cottle who won 9/8. There are 3
rounds left, with the next being on 12th April at Lakeview where we have the
