EXPERIENTIAL OPTIONS Make the Switch 3 WEEKS GAME IDEAS Clothes and Fashion Trivia: Come up with a list of random and fun clothing and fashion trivia questions, and have students come up and answer them. (Ties into week 1) Label the Label: Show images of various clothing/style logos and have student guess the brand and what type of people use it or wear it. (Ties into week 1) Character Charades: Have students come up to the front of the room and give them a character they have to act out. Let the audience guess who they are. They can use motions, noises, and sounds, but no words. Provided is a list of characters to get you thinking, but feel free to come up with your own. (Ties into the whole series about being a person of character) Here’s the list: Elsa, Justin Bieber, Batman, Mario, Ninja turtle, Sleeping Beauty, Bugs Bunny, Sponge Bob, etc. How’s it Hangin’: Have participants hang a banana, on a string, from their waste. The bottom of the banana should be 12” off the ground. They will then use the banana to hit oranges into a hula-hoop. Have students hang the banana from their backside so it doesn’t look like a you-know-what … and so it doesn’t look inappropriate. You can use real articles of clothing, brand logos, etc. For week 1: Theme night: Alternative Style. Have students come dressed up as an exaggerated version of a style different from what they typically wear. You could even have a crazy-clothes fashion show. For week 1: Have students Instagram their favorite outfit. For week 2: Have students Instagram an odd, weird, and/or quirky habit that they have. For week 3: Have students post their highest Fruit Ninja score on Instagram with the #fruitninjaswitch. Winner gets a prize.
