OPENING CASE STUDY
“You don’t have to be aggressive to progress you can carve your own path”
Aspiring leaders often feel like they must conform to a
certain model of behaviour in order to lead effectively.
Kelly challenges that idea and has maintained her own
style throughout her career progression. Over the past
4 years at Holcim, Kelly has grown a team from 3 to
40 members which was recently awarded the Internal
Customer Excellence award by the CEO of Holcim. Kelly
will discuss:
• Embracing your strengths - You don’t have to fit the mould to succeed
• Strategies to ensure maximised team engagement and aligned workplace vision
• Creating strong and supportive teams to achieve organisational goals
The key difference between good and great leaders is
your mindset. As a leader you have the responsibility to be
careful about the image and attitude you wish to portray to
your team and organisation. Being aware of your personal
branding, the perception of others and your own emotions
will contribute to your leadership success. Georgia will
explore:
• Self-awareness and understanding your mindset
• How to bounce back, be fully present and be the leader you want to be
• Leading through periods of change with positivity and resilience
