Danish Dairy Technology without Borders Part time position as Program-coordinator Are you looking for a position where you can utilize your skills for building an organization from scratch? Are you happy working as a pioneer, with many different tasks on your desk, and are you motivated by helping others in need? Danish Dairy Technology without Borders (DDTwB) founded in 2015, aims to establish and support small local development projects within the dairy sector in selected developing countries. The organization has an opening as Programcoordinator and you will, supported by the board members and a team of colleagues, be the key person to build the organisation and to coordinate the organizations initiatives around the world. The position is 15 hours per week and the office is located in Odense (home office possible). Daily operations • With direct reference to the Back-office Manager, you will drive the daily operations for DDTwB as well as more strategic tasks. • DDTwB is a nonprofit organization and a significant part of the Program-coordinators role will be related to Funding. You will be in charge of sourcing and applying for funding and sponsorships, which matches DDTwB’s profile and projects. • Furthermore, you will be the key-stakeholder for managing the pipeline of future potential projects, coordinate the volunteers work before, during and after projects etc. • Further, you must focus on promoting the organization to members, sponsors and other stakeholders. • Together with the Back-office Manager you will also assist in setting up the future business model, look into budgets etc. Structured and service minded To succeed as Program-coordinator for DDTwB, you are outgoing and direct in your communication written and spoken - as well as being able to take lead for others to secure tasks are being fulfilled. We need you to have an unpretentious, but yet professional approach, when working with colleagues, 4 MÆLKERITIDENDE 2015 sponsors and customers. A general interest and understanding of the developing countries, international relations and cultural differences is a clear advantage. It is also an advantage to know the Danish dairy business. As a person, you need to be able to keep cool and stay on top of your tasks even though the pace may be high and the deadlines short. You are serviceminded and flexible but also able to take a firm stance when required. You have a good sense of structure and strong attention to details, and you are able to manage multiple situations and a high degree of confidentiality. You will communicate with many stakeholders and establish a strong professional platform. Finally, you are comfortable with numbers and have excellent written and spoken Danish and English skills. Educational Background You have a business-related Bachelor’s degree - or higher and minimum 3-4 years’ experience, preferably from a coordinating function.
