MCA of Houston and its’ Platinum Sponsors invite you to join them at the 10th Annual Shotgun Invitational. The
event is now open for registration open to Contractor Members, Associate Members and Guests, for an afternoon of
fun and networking. The Mechanical Contracting Industry Fund of Houston will sponsor all guests, including general
contractor representatives, consulting engineers, architects and non-MCA Houston member signatory contractors
(the Guest category is not open to non-union mechanical contractor representatives). No “professionals” will be
permitted to shoot - this is an amateur shooters event.
The event registration will include the “Flurry/Flush” team event, the “Annie Oakley” individual event, open shooting
on multiple “Skeet Fields” for warm-ups and fun. All ammunition plus beverages and dinner are included in the
registration. Each registered shooter will receive a raffle ticket for door prizes and the Grand Prize. Drawings will
occur following dinner.
Registration will be limited to 150 shooters; Registration fees must accompany the registration form.
We’ll start registration at 1:30 PM. The individual competition will begin at 2:00 PM in our Annie Oakley competition
(see the attached rules and procedures), with the winner of each round to be placed into the finals. The final round
will shoot at 5:00 PM. Awards will be issued to the top three shooters. The “Flurry/Flush” competition will begin
about 2:00 PM. Teams will be made up of four (4) shooters. Each team will be scored on the combined number of
targets hit. The winning team will hold a trophy engraved with the team name and individual team member names
for one year.
Goode Company Barbeque will serve dinner at the conclusion of the “Annie Oakley” individual event. Awards for the
Team Flurry/Flush and individual “Annie Oakley” shooting events will be announced following the dinner and door
prizes.
