This Week’s News
Church Attendance April 12th: Early 112 Late 73
Thank You Lana Esch! Thank you to Lana Esch for sharing her talent in
making the small baptismal cloths used at each baptism and given to the
parents of the child. These fine linen cloths used to be made by Millie
Tessman, a longtime Mt. Olive member who passed away a few years ago.
Because we have been blessed with many baptisms in the last few years, we
were in need of more. They are a wonderful reminder of each child's
baptism!
Church Yard Cleanup Day: Grab your rake and gloves and join us on
Friday, April 24th at 5:30pm for a couple hours of outside yard clean up.
Let's enjoy some vigorous fun together, while beautifying our church

poverty. Please prayerfully consider sponsoring one of these beautiful

Congratulations Vicar Dan! A HUGE congratulations to Vicar Dan
Anderson, who was ordained as pastor at Concordia University in St. Louis
on Friday! We are blessed to have him in our community and leading our
ministry at Calvary Chapel. Join us in celebrating NEXT Sunday, April 26th
at Coffee Hour, which is also Compassion Sunday.
To God Be The Glory! TY from Linda Krueger: We are grateful to Mt.
Olive volunteers who helped lead our Lent/ Holy Week/Easter Sunday
worship services. Recognizing that these volunteers do so for the entire
year, it is Easter that is the greatest festival of the Christian year. Thank you
to Greeters, Lectors, Ushers, Worship and Communion Assistants, Altar
Guild, banner and flower coordinators, Acolytes, Mt. Olive Chorus, Bell Choir,
Brass and string ensembles, soloists, Olive Branch, Sound/Projection

and talent. We rejoice in God’s saving grace and are inspired to spread the
Good News. He is Risen, Alleluia! Appreciation goes out to the High School

you for your generous contribution to our Easter Sunday celebration. Our
bodies, minds and souls were fed with the many gifts God graces us!
