Greetings,
It is with pleasure we invite you to the 31st Annual Economic Development Conference of the
National Organization of Black County Officials, Inc. (NOBCO). The theme for this year is
“Empowered to Succeed in a New Era”. The conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton
at 6 Greenway Plaza, Houston, Texas from June 3-7, 2015. Our 31st Annual Economic
Development Conference will focus on nationally recognized leaders who will share with us relevant
information on important issues confronting counties and cities.
The primary focus is to look at the economic impact in areas such as education, job growth and
development, how to maintain healthy counties, the impact of the criminal justice system, and more.
The conference will reach out to government, community and business leaders across the country
that will convene in Houston to engage in roundtable discussions, workshops, and presentations that
will educate and highlight many issues facing governments today.
We are pleased to have so many committed partners, especially with the National Association of
Black County Officials (NABCO), our membership organization. Thank you to our committed
partners and sponsors!
Sincerely,
Roy C. Brooks
