New PE Kit for Northfield Students Northfield unveils its new PE kit

New PE Kit for Northfield Students Northfield unveils its new PE kit. Mr Walker explains why. ‘A year ago a parent complained that ‘Only a man would have chosen white for a PE kit. It’s a nightmare to wash and dry and the stains really show. Although the PE kit predates me joining the school, I did agree with her sentiments. I therefore asked our uniform suppliers to come up with a more ‘sports‐friendly’ version and asked a group of our current students to look at their ideas. The result was a kit that had high technical specifications, was very easy to wash and hard wearing. The boys preferred black whilst the girls chose red. I think that the students made an excellent choice’. Parents and carers will know that the new school uniform was introduced last September with students being able to wear the old uniform until September 2015. Please note that the new school uniform will be compulsory in September and the old uniform will not be allowed. The change to the school’s PE kit will be introduced along similar lines with the old PE kit being acceptable for one more year allowing parents to replace PE kit with the new version until it becomes compulsory in September 2016. The new PE uniform will be compulsory for the Year 7 students who join us in September.
