COVER-UP – Students must wear a cover-up over their costumes at all times while waiting to perform/rehearse. A bathrobe or oversized button-up shirt from Mom or Dad works well. Students in more than one dance will be able to change costumes in dedicated changing areas. Pictures will be taken by Donner Photographic Inc. Parents will be able to order prints of group shots and solo portraits. Ordering info will be released closer to the Picture Day date. Dancers should come to their class’s picture day even if parents do not plan on ordering prints so that all dancers will be in the group photo to go on the N-STEP’s wall of fame! It is imperative that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your child’s first scheduled picture time as they will not be held for individuals arriving late. Page 6 [email protected] N-STEP Dance Center Recital 2015 Information Packet (603)641-6787 OUTSTANDING N-STEPPER AWARD N-Step Dance Center is pleased to announce our 5th ANNUAL OUTSTANDING N-STEPPER AWARD. We are asking our dancers to nominate a fellow dancer who they believe is worthy of this award by writing a brief essay explaining why they believe their nominee is truly an Outstanding N-Stepper. Not only are we looking for nominees who are dedicated, but those who exemplify the qualities of a good person with a role-model worthy character. Maybe there is someone in one of your classes who you know tries 100% all the time. Maybe you know of a dancer who went above and beyond to help another at some point during this year, or a dancer that always does a great job and you look up to them. Maybe there is a dancer that stands out to you for another reason. Please write us a brief essay and tell us about them! Essays will be read by me and a winner will be chosen based on the content of the essay not by how many nominations an individual receives. The winning essay will be read aloud during our awards ceremony at our 14th Annual Recital acknowledging the author and the recipient. If you wish your nomination to remain anonymous please let us know. All essays need to be submitted by June 1st. You may write it and place it in the Payment Box or email it to [email protected]. Please share this opportunity with your dancer. Have them use the space provided below for your essay and if additional space is needed please attach another sheet of paper to this. The Staff thought that this award would be a neat addition to our recognition ceremony at the Recital and a way for the dancers to have a voice as to who they thought was deserving of recognition! Past Recipients 2014 Kaylie Leitner 2013 Isabelle Richard 2012 Jaclyn Allen 2011 Courtney Poirier & Elizabeth Morrissette Thank you and I look forward to reading all your essays!
