response to industry challenges in well
construction. The day will begin with an opportunity to
discuss radical innovation and generate
ideas that could reduce well costs, with

Deirdre Michie takes the helm at Oil & Gas UK
Deirdre Michie takes up the position of chief executive at Oil & Gas UK,
replacing Malcolm Webb, who formally retires on 31 May 2015. Deirdre comes from a strong industry
background, having joined Oil & Gas UK from
Shell. Deirdre will be based in Aberdeen with an
