Prom
This is a School Function
• Expectations are to have fun but be smart.
• Prom season
• Get there and get back home without
incident.
Senior Award’s Night
• Senior Award’s night is a night dedicated to honor
graduates, seniors receiving awards or recognition,
and seniors receiving scholarships.
• Wear your gown- with black shoes and NO CAPS!
• You will be walking – be sure on your heels. You
need to be able to walk comfortably to the front in a
reasonable manner.
• Everyone is encourage to attend, if you are receiving
an award, you will get a specific invitation.
• Tuesday, May 12th at St. Luke’s Catholic Church at
6:00pm BE ON TIME!
(The church is on the corner of Blanding and Old
Jennings Road)
Baccalaureate
Service with the purpose of fully
honoring the Seniors.
• May 19th at 6:00 pm at St. Luke’s
Catholic Church. Do not be late.
• Wear Your Gown! Not the cap.
• Senior video will be shown at
this time.
• Senior Teacher of the Year will be
announced.

Senior Week
Everything MUST be within
reasonableness regarding dress code.
These are a fun events, don’t finish
your high school leaving bad
memories or jeopardizing your ability
to participate in graduation over
dress up day.
When in doubt, don’t wear it.

Clearance Sheets during 1st period.

Seniors will

ONE clearance
sheet that
cannot be
replaced.
Seniors will not
be dismissed
from class and
must find their
own time to
clean out their
own lockers.
• Sheets will be distributed Thursday, May 21st through the
Senior English classes. If you do not have an English class
at OHS, pick it up from Mrs. Duckworth on Thursday
morning. Once exams have been completed, seniors are
no longer required to attend that class.
• If the senior does not have transportation home, then
they will be required to follow their regular schedules.
YOU MAY NOT ROAM THE CAMPUS, you either leave or
go to your normal classes. If you owe nothing, AND you
are exempt from the exam, your teachers will sign your
clearance sheet. Those turning exams on Thursdays are
ONLY the students who are exempt from ALL exams
(Semester Exams can’t be exempt
• You must be cleared by Mrs. Torode (library), Mrs.
Duckworth (fines) and Ms. Baker (cafeteria) before your
sheet may be turned in.

Eagle Landing Clubhouse and Pool.

turned in, in order to attend.
Graduation Day
• Senior Breakfast: May 29th at the Church at
6823 Argyle
Argyle at 7 am prompt for an all inclusive
Forest Blvd.,
breakfast. Cost $3.00. Tickets available from
Jacksonville,
Florida 32244 Mr. Brazelton.
• Mandatory graduation rehearsal:
– May 29th doors lock at 8:30 am in the cafeteria
• Leave ALL electronic devices at home or in
your car.
• Be alert and actively listen to the
instructions is imperative
• If you fail to adhere to the rules and
requests, you will forfeit your right to walk.
Graduation Ceremony
• You will NOT walk if you do not attend the entire
rehearsal practice.
What to Wear:
• DO NOT ALTER YOUR CAP AND GOWN
• Ladies: a dress (that’s no longer than the robe) or
skirt and black dress shoes only.
• Ladies, we do not advise wearing extremely high
heels you will be walking in the grass and up the
stairs onto the stage. So, please keep that in mind
and leave the stilettos for the after party. 
• Gentlemen: Black dress pants, WHITE collared
shirt, solid color tie, dress shoes, and black socks.
NO FLIP FLOPS OR SNEAKERS, remember this is an
honorable event and we’d like to see you dressed
nicely.
Graduation Ceremony
• Parking:
If you live close to the school, please
consider walking. You will get out
faster than if you were to drive.
• Once the ceremony is over, please do
NOT loiter in the stadium or the
cafeteria. We understand this is an
emotional event, but we would like
to get everyone their diplomas and
send them on their way ASAP! 

• Handicapped tickets are available please
request them if you have a family member
that needs it. ONLY ONE ESCORT PER
HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUAL.
