Rehearsal for graduation. Seniors must report to the gym and be in their seats by
12:00 p.m. No practice = No graduation participation! Practice lasts 2-3 hours and
practice must be perfect! Work is not an excuse to arrive late or leave practice
early. Make alternative work arrangements ahead of time. Yearbooks and cameras
may not be brought to practice.
Graduation. Seniors must have completed all graduation requirements to
participate in the ceremony. Please remember that your graduation CEREMONY is
a privilege, not a celebration! Students must arrive at Sleeptrain Amphitheatre by
5pm. Seniors will be screened at the door for items not allowed such as cell phones,
pagers, cameras, sun glasses, purses or yearbooks. Appropriate attire for the
ceremony for girls: dress, slacks and shoes. For guys: slacks, collared shirt and
dress shoes. Seniors may not wear tennis shoes, flip-flops (beach rubber showerstyle), slippers, shorts, jeans, t-shirts or sunglasses, or any other items deemed
inappropriate by the administration. No extra paraphernalia such as flowers or leis
are allowed on gowns or caps. Only approved sashes, cowls, and cords are
allowed at graduation. Seniors who do not follow our rules will not walk in the
graduation ceremony and may pick up their diploma in the Registrar’s office.
Parking: There is plenty of parking at Sleep Train Amphitheatre. Directions to
Sleeptrain are in the ASB and posted on the school website.
Parents and guests of the Senior class are advised to bring sunscreen, hats, water,
and sunglasses, as there will be no shade. Guests may be sitting in direct sunlight
until the sun sets.
2015 SLEEP TRAIN AMPHITHEATRE PROMOTION/GRADUATION INFORMATION
Please arrive 1 hour prior to ceremony to park and find seating.
Sleep Train Security will check guests at all entry gates. Sleep Train management will NOT ALLOW the
following items to be brought into the stadium:











Strollers (a stroller “corral” will be provided)- you will check them inside
Infant Seats/ Car Seats
Flyers or signs
Airhorns
Frisbees
Balloons
Laser pointers
Banners or signs
Lawn Chairs
Backpacks
Musical Instruments
Coolers
Sharp or Dangerous items
Weapons
Stickers
Tripods
Umbrellas
Food (one clear zip-lock bag with snack food allowed)
Beverages (one factory sealed bottle of water up to 20 oz. allowed)
At the conclusion of the ceremony, please help prevent traffic jams by exiting the facility and parking lot in a
timely manner.
