2. One and Only Mrs. Diana's Star-Making Spectacular. 5 spots available. Fri., May 15,

Mrs. Diana will spend the afternoon teaching and folding her famous origami

by two of San Diego’s most sought-after purveyors, Peter Zien (AleSmith Brewing) and
Ryan Johnston (Whisknladle, Prepkitchen and Catania). Date TBD.
• Experience a one-of a kind beer paired multi-course dinner created for you and 9

• Two of San Diego’s most sought after purveyors, Peter Zien of AleSmith Brewing
and Ryan Johnston of Whisknladle, Prepkitchen and Catania are teaming up to
prepare this culinary feast in a private dining room at Prepkitchen, Little Italy.
• Peter Zien is the owner and creative genius behind award winning AleSmith
Brewing. He is San Diego’s only Grandmaster Beer Judge and an awardwinning cheese maker. A small selection of his cheeses will be offered as part of

11. Fund-A-Need — Help Fund OTA S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering,
Mathematics).
Our K-8 curriculum needs to inspire and develop the skills that will ensure that our
children can be successful in an increasingly STEM-dependent world. STEM is the
foundation for many career paths. The proceeds from OTA Wine and Dine will fund
initiatives such as the following:
• Continuing to build upon our STEM curriculum (reviewing the project trees and
establishing STEM learning demonstrations).
• Hiring a dedicated STEM teacher.
• Renovation of our lab facilities and equipment.
• Establishing an OTA science fair.
• Ensuring MAPS testing is sufficient to measure growth from a STEM perspective.
12. Art with a Heart. An evening of art and food for 20 on Thurs., May 21, 2015, at Casa
Artelexia to support becoming a Heart Safe School.
• Ladies Night – come get your creative juices flowing!
• Join us to raise money for a Heart Safe School and enjoy an evening of tapas &
cocktails, all while creating your very own masterpiece to take home. Under the
skillful eye of Sonja Donahue, you will enjoy this magical venue as it transports
you to villages in Mexico where you will no doubt find your muse to create.
• The goal is to become a Heart Safe School, and the next step is to have a plan in
place to train the 8th grade class. It will cost $2000 to train next year’s 8th
graders in CPR.

13. “Play Ball” with Tony Gwynn, Jr. Private lesson for up to 3 kids, includes lunch at the
Cheesecake Factory. Date TBD.
• “Play Ball” with major leaguer Tony Gwynn, Jr. who will provide a private
baseball lesson for up to 3 kids.
• Tony, who learned about “doing things the right way and doing them with a
purpose” from his legendary Hall of Fame father, will teach your kids the art of
hitting and throwing or whatever they would like to learn.
• The lesson will be followed by lunch at Tony’s favorite eatery, the Cheesecake
Factory.
