Student Course Pathway
The table below gives the pathway for completing the Certificate III – Electrotechnology Electrician through OTEN.
On enrolment you will be enrolled into the units in Block A: UEENEEC020B and UEENEED101A. UEENEEC020B will explain how your course and OTEN operates and UEENEED101A will help
you with the various technologies required as part of studying with OTEN. You then progress through the course in blocks of units.
Progression by Blocks of Units
Training Phase / Year 1: Block A + External Block* -> Block B -> Block C -> Attend OTEN Skills Sessions -> Block D -> Block E -> Attend OTEN Skills Sessions
Training Phase / Year 2: Block F -> Block G -> Block H-> Attend OTEN Skills Sessions
Training Phase / Year 3: Block I -> Block J -> Attend OTEN Skills Sessions
Training Phase / Year 4: Block K -> Apply for Capstone
*Additional elective units provide pathways to industry and further study options. These should be completed at the earliest possible time and prior to attending skills sessions.
HLTAID001 CPR should be done as a part of HLTAID003 Provide First Aid which is required for the unit UEENEEE101A. CPCCOHS1001A the Construction (‘White’) Card and HLTAID003 are to be undertaken at
