Passion or Palm Sunday marks the beginning of
the most important week in the whole of the Church’s year called Holy Week. I hope you will be
able to come to as many of the Holy Week services as possible; the insert with this newsletter
gives the days and times of the various services – please it keep it handy for easy reference. At
today’s 11 o’clock Mass children from our parish will be enrolled for their First Holy Communion
which takes place next Sunday, Easter Sunday at the 11 o’clock Mass. On Tuesday, St
Christopher’s Primary School children will perform the Passion Play in church. This annual
performance is always deeply moving and this year should be no exception – so please come
along at 7.00pm on Tuesday if you can. May all of us strive to grow in our awareness of God’s
love for us during this Holy Week as we invoke his blessing upon us and our families.
