Dear Parents & Carers
Parents should aim to bring their children into school ideally no later than
8.40am as lessons start promptly at 8.50am.
The school day ends promptly at 3.25pm. If your child is not collected on
time they will automatically be taken to Peartree and you will be charged
accordingly.
Children may wear their Guides, Brownies or Scouts uniforms on Thursday 23
April to celebrate St George’s Day.
Best attendance this week goes to Malachite class.
Most improved attendance this week is Sunstone class.
We welcome Mr Thwaites as an additional Deputy
Headteacher to the school. He is responsible for Year 5
and 6 and he will be in attendance during the upcoming
parent consultations.
Mr Mackrory also joins us and is a highly experienced Year 5 teacher who has
joined the staff at Parlaunt Park for the rest of this term.
Please may we remind you all that your child’s parent pay account should remain
in credit at ALL times. We send regular emails to remind you to top up your
child’s account as we are aware that these things can be easily overlooked. If
you do receive notification please ensure that the account is brought back into
credit as soon as possible otherwise you may be asked to provide your child with
a packed lunch until the account is cleared. Should you wish to discuss your
account Mrs Singh will be more than happy to assist.

With effect from Monday 20 April School lunch times will run from
12pm – 1pm for all children.
Can we please also ask that if you have any lunch bands at home, that the
children bring these back to school as they need to be re-used.
The reception children were visited this week by Ark farm. The children
enjoyed learning about the different animals
and their daily life. They also had the
opportunity to stroke and even hold some of
the animals.
